Love your videos, I'm in process of making my own English wheel as I need to make a few panels. The main one is the rear deck that is about 5ft long by 4 ft wide which I need just a slight contour on of about 1 cm side to side but the length is far more contoured, any ideas on how to go about making this, Cheers, jeff.

If your trying to ball on a budget the harbor freight central machinery English wheel isn't bad. But he did do some gussets on it which made it better. I made a few fenders with it. My dads made alot of stuff with it. Think he gave $250 for it with a coupon.

Great video. Quick question that I’m sure you already answered somewhere. Are the goose headers just normal stock replacement shorties that you turned around and swapped sides?
@Thefabforums5 жыл бұрын
they are....they are some stainless shorties that I just welded some v bands too. I am actually using the same ones on the Bibbster as well
@haanstang6485 жыл бұрын
The Fab Forums Good too know thanks. I have a blow through procharger 4 eyed fox that I’m board with and thinking of twin turbos since I have QT carb, regulator, fuel pump, ignition, and intercooler already. I have a set of stainless shorty equal length headers that I was thinking of using Love your videos and your inspirational quotes.

10:44 you stretch the metal and it goes longer and fatter? i think you missed it. still nice job. love your videos.
@yoesomite21994 жыл бұрын
what happens if you over stretch the area, how do you shrink it back down ? Also , are there any tricks to holding a larger panel like a door skin if you don't have someone to help? ie can you use an extension table to support the metal on the on the side ?
@Thefabforums4 жыл бұрын
there are ways to shrink but it isnt easy...best advice is to just take it slow

its rendered all the way to 1080...youtube just starts them at the bottom. So you watch shortly after I post you only get the low res. I would bet if you watched it now 1080 would be available.

Not supposed to lube it causes slip
@Thefabforums5 жыл бұрын
you want slip...it allows it to stretch easier

My girlfriend has a deeper throat depth. But for real she does. She modified her English wheel to have a deeper throat depth. Oh, also her throat can take a 10 incher lol
