You got a new CRF450L? I went to my local dealer and they told me that Honda aren't importing any any into Australia any more so they can sell them into their bigger markets. Glad you managed to pick one up.
@thefreedomaddiction96394 жыл бұрын
@@craigrt not sure how true that is cause there still selling them in NZ. I think it’s because Australia is limited to the choked up euro spec not the USA spec bike. The guys at the shop put the USA ecu in mine and removed the restrictor. Australia is governed by a bunch of pusses!!!!!

I thought it was an unwritten law that Trip B was for oil changes 😉, I couldn't help but think of all the years when I was a kid I got asked to set the clock on everyones VCR. Those skills are still used today!
@JohnTYoung4 жыл бұрын
If you change your oil every 1000 miles the math does itself. LOL. I use B for BDR Sections (Lake City to Buena Vista is 145 miles etc...), especially when you're planning to skip gas stations or section ends. I still can't change the time on my alarm clock.

@@montayga1018 the only issue that sounds like that I know of is a wrongly installed tip-over sensor. But loose wires can cause all kinds of havoc.

@JohnTYoung4 жыл бұрын
No regrets from me. No break downs either. LOL. You're going to want to add the Vortext ECU for sure and a pipe for second. That costs a bit and brings it up to the cost of the KTM, but leaves you with an adjustable ECU. So there's that. The stock tires are nice on the road, questionable in the dirt.

Thanks for the info John, very helpful. I was at the dealer last week going through this very thing with him but he was a little unsure of some of the finer details. I'm in New Zealand and unfortunately Honda have decided that due to the low sales volume of this model no more will be sold here. They were expensive, $16,500.00 so accordingly all not that popular. The local dealer has two left so thinking hard about whether to acquire one. And can I ask what model Arai helmet you have?

I will BPP! But basically,, pull in the clutch with the engine running and press the start button. You will see the engine light blink to let you know TC is on. To turn it off - Pull in the clutch and press the start button. The engine light will stop blinking to let you know TC is off.
