Sir 6:31 mei...0.02 ki division hai vernier scale mei... Toh 34.9 kaise? Matlab sir vernier scale mei 1 ka matlab 0.1 mm if least count is 0.02? And 10 means 1 mm?

Sir I hv a doubt u directly told that 34.9 But sir it will be equal to 34+.02×9 because L.c is .02 hence v count varnier reading as l.c×varnier scale reading

OK bro dekho vernier scale ki Jo graduations hoti h vo hoti hein 1 2 3 ...... 9 & 10 OK, inke beech me Jo divisions hoti h vo hoti hein 5 sabhi me OK, or least count hota h vo hota h ek division ka 0.02 right, OK lets suppose humari vernier scale ki 3rd line match kr rahi h main scale se OK tou hum read karenge decimal me 0.06 thik h isi tarah ager 4th line touch karegi to hum read karenge 0.08 fine, or same isi tarah ager 5th line match karegi mtlb vernier scale ki jis line per 1 likha h vo match karegi to hum read karenge as per formula .1 decimal ke baad OK, tou yaha calculate krne per bhi point ke baad 1 aa raha h or directly vernier scale PR bhi 1 likha h to use hum 1 he PD lenge bina calculate kiye, same isi taraha mene 34.9 pada kyu ki ager hum read karenhe tb bhi .9 ayega kyu ki vernier scale PR jaha 9 likha h waha tk vernier scale ki 45 division cover ho jati hai to 45x0.02 = .9 OK. humko total number of division ko 0.02 se multiply krna h na ki 9 se.OK mtlb 45 se OK or chunki direct vernier scale PR likha hota h jese 9 taki Hume calculate na krna pade direct hum reading le Len I think now your doubt may clear Thanks

Why Vernier caliper outer jaw designed like that? I mean to say why bottom portion of the jaw is thin? And what is it used for? Plz explain.

bro lower jaws of vernier caliper has two sections one is thicker on above portion and thinner section at the lowest portion so as we know clearly that lower jaws are basically use for measuring the O.D of any shaft or cylinder and thinner portion of lower jaws are used for measure the thickness of cylinder because is has thin section and minimum contact area so we can precisely measure cylinder thickness and if we use lower jaw's thicker portion then there will be some clearance and reading may be wrong in this case.
