Good Evening, I have been using this on my PC flawlessly. Simple setup with a headset, everything working great. I hooked it up to my son's Xbox X and it worked fine. Well, connecting it back to the PC, everything works but the mic on the headset. I checked my PC settings and the soundcard is chosen for speakers and Microphone so I know the settings are right. Any idea what it could be?

Maybe if you switch the sound card not recognize it, plug it in unplug it and then switch it back. Maybe it'll recognize it.

I got it to work on my son's Xbox X. I ran his headset 3.5mm to the headset plugin on the soundboard then run one of the 3.5mm wires provided with the soundboard from the phone symbol on the soundcard to his controller and it worked great.

I would say get a portable Yamaha sampler or you can get software for your laptop that would allow you to do so. Matthew, if you get it for the last time, you're going to need connectives to connect your microphone to the laptop.

Plug in the USB cable into the laptop when it's off when you turn it on it should auto recognize it. If not you may need to go into the USB port on the laptop and left click to search for the device . Hopefully that will help.
