I'm looking forward to the fifth iteration featuring multi-mixing capabilities. Imagine being able to blend multiple instruments simultaneously with a single click. The software would analyze each track in unison, adjusting settings to achieve the optimal mix. Ideally, it would scan the entire song, dynamically altering volume and other parameters to ensure a harmonious balance. Additionally, I'd be thrilled if the program expanded its preset library to include a wider range of orchestral sounds as well as EDM synths and vocal effects.

I have had the Izotope Suite for a while now and I am not using Neutron and Nectar for two reasons and I wonder if others feel like that, so Izozope could make a big improvement for our workflow: Firstly I find the exciter MUCH too strong, it would be good if there was a way to generally tell Neutron and Nectar if you are an exciter friend instead of turning it down everytime. Secondly, Izotope Products stand for ease of use and a quick first result; but actually it takes VERY long to have the AI run over EACH TRACK separately and then OZONE for the master. So what I would love to have is the following (inspired by your intercommunication e.g. with the visual mixer): I would like to have one instance of Neutron/Nectar on my standard chain on each track on bypass (zero latency!), so whenever I open a new track, it is on, but does not cause disturbance. When I am done with the song, I would love to have a "remote" plugin like the visual mixer (or even Ozone) und the Master track, to switch them all on at once, run the song, all instances do their thing during that run through and that way all AI magic is done AT once. Then I can go through and check each track and fine tune. That would save SO MUCH TIME for doing that for EACH TRACK. Does anyone else feel that way?

Why does the tone mach button always brighten as it moves up? If it is a percentage slider for the new tone match, shouldn't it sometimes darken the tone if the original was too bright?

Not a fan of the multiband compression eq scupltor kind of sucks that its such a big part of the tone shaping part of the new assistant... always sounds better without it, I'd like it better if the tone was shaped by the eq.

Update is good, but considering I currently own the full production suite and I still have to pay £118. Ill take a pass. last few big updates from Izotope have been ok but not good enough to warrant such high costs when I have already spent so much. I have Arturias full packages too and I pay no where near as much for far more in regards to update content.

To use a reference for my guitar track. Can I use a whole song as a reference or do i need to find the guitar isolated on some favorite album?

Best way to think about it is how close do you want the result. A whole song will be a broader brush, a solo'd or separate stem will be tighter matched. I have taken short sections of full mix where the sound I want is seperated for a few seconds, slice it out, then loop it several times, then print that and use it so the reference reader has a longer window of read time. Results will vary. Best result is a complete solo stem, if you are looking to match a specific instrument.

how the hell do you force Neutron 4's assistant to use a specific target (like you could w/ Neutron 3)? the fact that you can't do this in v4 is really fking annoying... e.g. i have a sub-bass that the assistant keeps misidentifying as a guitar, so i change the target to sub-bass and run the relearn, but it keeps changing it back to guitar... honestly feeling a bit ripped-off that i upgraded now - why would you guys take this feature away???

The UI looks better, but I *really* dislike the knobs/dials you guys use. There isn't enough travel in them compared to a traditional dial. They end up working like short throw pudgy sliders.

Who drags in stems or audio files… this is not very practical. Need to be able to load a complete track then let the AI seperate the tracks and suggest various curves per instrument. No one will load a sample to copy… we would just use the sample

Assistant - This is complete nonsense, he is just trying to understand what kind of instrument he is playing and choosing presets. It would be nice if he at least guessed what he chooses, but in 8 cases out of 10 he is wrong. Further, about the assistant that helps you adjust the volume balance, he cannot recognize the trap bass as bass, he thinks that this is a musical instrument, the same with the kick ... Isotope products are just marketing, and quality died in 2010. Useless waste of money.
