Any tutorial on creating artwork to print on t-shirt?

Hi, I was just thinking about this a couple of days ago. It’s something I want to learn too… 😉 I just did a search here on KZbin… "How to create art for t-shirts" and lots of interesting videos came up. At a glance it looks like most are using Adobe Photoshop, but the rules/techniques and tips should still apply to any digital art program, including art made on iPad. I have some art pieces I’m working on right now which I thought might be fun for t-shirts… Thank you for asking and reminding me to look into this.

Rajib Paul Hi, I’m not sure. I’ve never seen the android version. But with a quick search on internet, I didn’t see anything mentioning there were differences. If anything is different it might just be the timing of new updates. One might be behind the other. But that is just a guess. If it’s also free on Android it is worth checking it out 😉

How did you get the smoother lines? Trying to get higher resolution using iPhone

It might be dependent on the device, but in the place where you create a new document/canvas be sure to tap the little chain link icon. It is closed by default. You should be able to type anything you want then. Play with different sizes, but you definitely want to go bigger than your screen resolution

Do you know a way how to shrink the size of sheet ? ..... my drawing is just elongated everything is fine with it

I’m very stuck With n paper sizes Bc Idk What The numbers are For the kinda square I want it to be a square or close to one but mine just a long Rectangle which I hate

Angelina Le Hi, After figuring out what size you want. For example the short side of my 5400x7200 pixels... A square is equal on all sides so make it 5400x5400.

Angelina Le I have not used the phone version, but next to where you type the numbers, if there is a little chain link icon, (the iPad has a little link icon) you should be able to unlock the link and it should let you put in numbers for both sides. I’m not sure if the phone version is different.

You’re just above 300 dpi with that size. You should have no problem sending it to one of those online companies that make custom prints. Whatever you choose to print it on it should look good 👍🏻
