Well, you could, but I don't think it's necessary since it already contains 5% of Niacinamide. I would suggest using either one of them.

What retinol formulation do you use? Otherwise, you would have to apply it after the Axis Y Glow Serum. Always layer products from the thinnest to the thickest texture for optimal product absorption. But the rest looks okay.

I haven't tried that one, but the texture looks thinner than the Glow Serum, so use it before as demonstrated in my example routines. I don't know if you'll purge with that serum; however, the Niacinamide concentration is less, which your skin may tolerate much better.

Hmm, it does not layer well, but you should use the dark spot correcting serum first. Personally, I would suggest using them on different days, ideally in your evening skincare routine. So, just cleanse the face, pat it dry, then apply either the Axis-Y Glow Serum or the retinol.

Hey! :) I recommend using either your Rice Toner or Snail Essence. Still, if you want to use both, use the toner before applying your essence. COSRX, NIOD, Good Molecules, Biore, Nivea or Isntree could be great sunscreen options. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid sunscreen leaves the skin pretty glowy afterwards. Your PM routine looks good. Yes, you can use the Snail Essence before applying your Retinol or Retinoid to the skin. After that, you may not feel the need to use a moisturizer, in that case, it's fine to skip it.

Technically, yes, but practically, it's not needed since the Axis-Y Glow Serum already contains niacinamide. However, if you were to use a niacinamide serum, it should be applied first.

The Snail All-In-One Cream contains some occlusive agents and features a lightweight snail mucin, making it ideal for oily or normal skin. Therefore, I would recommend that one. As for the other product, its performance depends on your overall tolerance and how well it works on your skin. The serum has a lightweight formulation and contains ingredients necessary to fade acne scars. However, it's difficult to determine which one would perform better.

Hey! :) Yes, that's fine! :) As for your dark circles, there are various reasons why you may experience them. First, the skin around the eyes is already naturally thin, and as we age, it becomes even thinner, which can result in a blue or purple hue in the eye contour over time. Other possible factors could be stress, dehydration, lack of sleep, hollowness, or it may be inherited. While some lifestyle changes may help reduce the appearance of dark circles, if the skin is too thin or the condition is inherited, there isn't much that can be done from a topical skincare perspective.

Because of university application and all i rarely slept at night. It was always like 5-6am in the morning and sleeping period was for 3-5 hrs maximum. I went thtough a lot of stress. @@kohinurrahman2341 Hm..if it is stress and lack of sleep related, it's best to change that to reduce the discolouration under the eyes. So far, I'm not aware of a product that can 'erase' dark circles as they are usually related to an underlying cause. I mean you may have luck with a Vitamin C or Niacinamide eye serum or cream, however, I can not guarantee this.

I think it would be best to start with Differin gel and add ingredients such as Azelaic Acid and BHA/AHA toner at a later point (after several weeks), so that your skin has time to adjust to it. AM: Clean face with a gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type. Pat dry. Apply Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum or Vitamin C serum. Apply sunscreen if exposed to the sun. PM: Clean face with a gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type. Pat dry. Apply Differin gel. You can now leave it as it is or follow with the snail mucin. If you use the snail mucin, give the Differin gel a few minutes to fully absorb into the skin. Regarding the frequency of Differin gel, you can technically use it daily. However, for some, it works best when first used every other day and then, after a few weeks, increasing the frequency to daily usage.

Hi Melissa hope you are well, I use tretinoin cream 0.05% at night so can I use axis glow serum with that if yes should I apply the serum before tretinoin or after the tretinoin. Generally, if you use tretinoin, you don't need to use other products. But to answer your question, I would layer the serum before the cream, allowing maybe a couple of minutes in between for absorption. My suggestion is: Morning routine: Clean your face. Pat it dry. Apply sunscreen (if you're exposed to the sun). Evening routine: Clean your face. Pat it dry. Wait a few minutes. Apply tretinoin. That's it!

You can use it in the following steps: Cleanse your face Apply vitamin C serum Apply Axis Y glow serum Apply sunscreen during the daytime Regarding the CeraVe acne control cleanser, it depends on your personal skin tolerance. If you are new to such products, it is recommended to start by using it every other day and then slowly increase the frequency to daily if your skin tolerates it. This is because it can cause irritation or dryness, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Hi, I use a niacinamide toner that is from a brand called dot&key... Which I think i should probably stop cuz my skin has become sensitive due to the overdose of niacinamide from both the toner and the axis-y dark spot serum...for the morning routine...after that toner I use the Axis-y dark spot treatment serum and then I use cosrx snail 92 cream which as i mentioned before has a thicker consistency than the axis-y..... after that i use a moisturizer from the company called quench that has matcha in it and after that I actually use two types of sunscreen...which is a tinted one and a sunstick... For the night routine it is the same but instead of the quench moisturizer I use a night cream that has retinol and ceramide in it and then i use only one of sunscreen....and on Sundays i add retinol in my evening skin care routine....that is after toner and before the axis-y... These r my 2 routines.....and thank u for replying 😆

Ok, using multiple moisturizers in the same routine is not needed. Try this instead: AM: - Cleanser - Hydrating or Brightening Toner (if used) - Glow Serum - (Optional) Moisturizer (just one of them) - Sunscreen (just one of them) PM: - Cleanser - Hydrating or Brightening Toner (if used) - Glow Serum - (Optional) Moisturizer (with Retinol) Other PM: - Cleanser - Hydrating or Brightening Toner (if used) - Glow Serum - Retinol - (Optional) Moisturizer (just one of them - without Retinol)

@@Aishaa5 Oh, so you have already bought them? Use your toner and one of the serums, and then apply your moisturizer afterwards in the AM. In the PM, use an exfoliating acid toner (like the one from Beauty of Joseon) followed by your moisturizer. However, I also recommend investigating the root causes of your closed comedones, such as lack of sleep, stress or mental health issues, environmental factors (air & water quality, washing detergent, etc), or your diet (such as consuming too much added sugar, processed food, fast food, or any food intolerance, like; bread/gluten, milk, chicken, eggs, etc).

Yes, however, the AXIS-Y Glow Serum, with or without the moisturizer, may be a bit too heavy for your oily skin. I also recommend using just one moisturizer (if you really need one); the Snail Essence can be hydrating enough so that you do not need any moisturizer afterwards. So, if the AXIS-Y Glow Serum is too heavy for you, I recommend using a water-based serum (such as those from The Ordinary, COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, Geek & Gorgeous, or Good Molecules) instead. This could be a Niacinamide or Alpha Arbutin serum. What cleanser do you use? However, I also recommend investigating the root causes of your acne, such as lack of sleep, stress or mental health issues, environmental factors (air & water quality, washing detergent, etc), or your diet (such as consuming too much added sugar, processed food, fast food, or any food intolerance; like soy, milk, bread (gluten), eggs, chicken, etc).

I used Cicaplast Baume B5 a lot, which helped with that, and now it's a lot better. Like dry to combination, i would say. I abused Cicaplast, lol I get random pimples a lot, sometimes clusters, especially after shaving/laser(after laser and shaving i only use Cicaplast). I also get single small or cyst like ones that leave scars. I have uneven skintone in places and can get dullness. Every day, my skin does something different. I just can't seem to get it right with products. It's like my skin changes every week. Sometimes, it looks okay, and other times, it's worse. I just started my PM routine last night. I woke and have tiny random red pimples with head everywhere and other pimples i have seem more visible. Is it normal with effaclar duo at first? I am still waiting for my spot corrector to arrive, then start my AM routine with it. While waiting for it, I'll use my PM routine in the morning or my first aid repair cream. Is it ok to use the dark spot corrector even if i don't have oily skin? Also, should i apply products i use straight after cleansing to damp skin? Does it matter? Im not too fussed with the glow recipe products, but i just dont want it sitting there because i hate wasting products. I will use them as you recommended until they run out as they are small, not full-size After i run out of the HA moisturizer, can i use my ultra repair cream after the effaclar duo if needed? With your skin type and concerns, it's important to be gentle with your skin and avoid overusing products. What skincare products did you try in the past to treat your acne? Regarding your PM routine, it's normal to experience some purging or initial breakouts when starting a new acne treatment like Effaclar Duo. This should subside after a few weeks of consistent use. As for the dark spot corrector, it can be used regardless of skin type. And applying products to damp/dry skin does not matter. Your skin absorbs water while you're washing your face making it damp, just make sure to pat off the excess water (water drops) from the skin surface. Do not apply your products to wet skin. As for the Glow Recipe products, it's understandable that you don't want to waste them. Using them as recommended until they run out is a good idea. @MelissaVanDijkOfficial Hi Melissa, thanks for your reply! I had Acne early 20s(32 now), but I can't recall what i used. I think just some supermarket stuff. I kind of started getting breakouts/dullness/uneven skin again late 20s and it's been up and down since. I just had 2 more questions 🙂 Is the Saturday skin peeling gel safe to use once a week with my products i am using? Can i keep using effaclar even after my face clears and make it a part of my everyday routine for a while? Or would you recommend i change it a little. Thank you 😊

@@Lish91 Oh okay! :) Yes, but I wouldn't use LRP Effaclar DUO after it. Just follow with hydration. If your skin tolerates LRP Effaclar DUO well, yes, you can use that one daily! :)

Well, aside from causing a slight stinging sensation, it should be effective. However, if the pimple has just been popped, it's advisable to apply it around the area for the first 1-2 days.

I wash face with Cepaphil and then use hyaluronic acid .Then i apply Garnier Vitmin c face cream. and then use suncream. Midnight: I sometimes apply ordinary niacinamide as well Before bed routine: When i finish job in the morning, I go home. Again clean face with cetaphil and use ordinary hyaluronic acid and then use ordinary Retinol 1%. and then Cetaphil moisturiser and sleep. Once in week: I also apply AHA30 BhA ordinary as well once in week. I have been using this products for the last 5 month. i got some results but still my face is not clear like dullness, Marks and have some spots as well. Can tell me proper routine and products to add or skip. I have not been doing face mask which is will use from tomorrow as well. I also ordered Vitamin C 30 The Inky list, Inkylist eye cream and new sunseal spf 50 by microskin which will be delivered to me today.
