I applied this to damp skin only to wake up with drier skin and a rash on my neck. I even started getting lines on my face from it. This isn't hydrating but dehydrating. UPDATE: I had to stop using. Hey there! Some people experience redness in the skin or rosacea - this essence is great to help increase hydration and reduce the redness in the skin. But you wouldn't want to apply the essence to broken skin e.g. abrasions/cuts which can also have inflammation. I can understand why it is a bit confusing, hope that helps clarify :)

I don’t usually have a problem with acne, yes I get pimple whenever my period arrives but now I notice bumps in my forehead. I remember then that I got the same reaction when I tried twice and then I stopped and picked it up again for a month, didn’t get a reaction and then I stopped since I stayed at home and just usually do cleanser, moistuizer and sunblock during day time. After almost a month, I remember it. Now, Ive been using it for five days and the bumps are back. There’s still probably 80% of unused essence. It made my skin soft though.

I had the same problem I've seen a dermatologist she said it's a reaction from the snail mucin and that it wasn't a good idea for my skin. I'm 36 she said it's for way older skin than mine like 20 more years. And that it is moisturizing and my skin didn't need that. I'm still trying to heal my skin because I had way more pumps now on my cheeks and forehead that is scaring my face. I do regret using trend stuff on my face. I didn't have issues I had lovely skin and now I hate to see the pigmentation that gave me after extraction of the whiteheads.

For the skin irritation, try mixing the snail mucin serum with organic aloe vera gel. I did and the skin irritation stopped occurring.

If you have dry skin, your skin lacks oil. You can still use this essence but it's focused on hydration. You will need to look at the cleanser you use to ensure it's not stripping your skin barrier (try a milk cleanser) and use a moisturiser that is tailored for dry skin.

I’m confused. The video says it reduces inflammation and redness yet at the end you say not to use on irritated skin - inflamed skin is irritated skin🤔

Great question :) it can help reduce redness and inflammation in the skin as it is anti-inflammatory but like most skincare it’s best to avoid on broken skin or extremely irritated skin like rashes. You can always patch test over the area and if your skin reacts fine, go ahead and use :)
