Moved into a house that was completely infested with fleas, ticks and roaches. I used an old box fan in high, a flower sifter and poured the backing soda into the sifter and bumped it a few times in front of the fan. It blew that backing soda everywhere. I did this to every room. I then mixed the backing soda with powdered sugar and sprinkled it on all the counter tops and in all the cabinets. A week later i came back and there were Zero bugs, ticks and fleas. For good measure, I cleaned it all up and did it again. Waited another week, cleaned it up and moved in. Pest free home.

Great video. I’ve found that dry dusting works for most insects. I discovered this while fighting my own bed bug infestation. I just dusted my entire house, concentrating heavily on my bedroom & basement. I have a stone foundation, so it’s a bit damp no matter what. In a few days, I found dead spiders, crickets, silverfish, German cockroaches, etc everywhere. I just clean up & reapply every 2 months. Works great!

Also another remedy but messier in case you dont have b soda on hand is do the same thing with dirt & water making actual mud and cover the sting with a handful of mud to draw out the poison as well! Hey just wanted to tell everyone about how to naturally get rid of termites! You need colloidal silver! It kills termites and other bugs right away! It is actually used by professionals for termite treatment and prevention and what they do is get a small long and thin plastic tube and fill it with silver and place a stick inside it and leave the top of it off and stick in the ground near the outside of the home. They usually place a bunch of them all around the house. I would spray the entire outside of the home with silver and continue to maintain that until they are gone and then maybe once a month for Maintence are wards. It will also keep out other pests and bugs too especially ants!

Lots of good info. Thanks. Arizona bark scorpions that are so poisonous are acvtually quite small. Western fire ants don't make mounds like the ones in the South. They come into my kitchen after meat and fat as in cat food or butter left on the counter.. Often we never find their hole outside.

The hornet one made me think of my Dad's old trick. He would have a big bucket of water with dish soap in it. Up above he would have a bbq rack type of set up eith some raw meat. They eat the raw meat then go down for a drink and the soap weighs them down and drowns them.
@Hey_OverHere2 ай бұрын
This is a good trick! However, the soap breaks the water’s surface tension and that causes the flies to sink. Normally, they’re able to stand on the surface, but the soap chemically changes the composition of the water with a corresponding lower surface tension.

The part I don't like is attracting the pests to you by using sugar, for example. I had tiny ants in the kitchen which were originally brought in by the sugar bowl. Commercial traps did nothing so I spread the condiment cloves around the back of the counters and they disappeared overnight. It has been a couple of months and they're not back.

Clove hub? I will try this.
@annfrost3323Ай бұрын
@@leafe-lu3jd please let me know if it works for you. I saw advertising on Internet for a product to kill bugs and I was ready to order. I read the 'natural' ingredients, one of them was cloves. I had old/dry cloves with the spices and spread them on window sill where I thought they were coming in, and at the rear of the counter tops. I would come into the kitchen in the middle of the night and turn on the lights and found one ant under the toaster. Since then, nothing. After a couple of weeks I spread the cloves outside under the window and fresh cloves on the counter tops. I have since removed them and cleaned up. Big jar of Badia cloves cost about $3.00 in a Latin market. Let's see how long it lasts but I'm ready.

Biggest problem for me is roaches. Everything I've tried only serves to control them. Some stuff seems to make them worse a few days after spraying. I'll try baking soda and sugar. Thanks for the tip.

We have had great success using the Harris Roach tablets. Have to be careful dogs and kids can't get them

Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth is excellent for roaches; it dries them up (from the inside-out). Food grade makes it safe for pets and humans, but be careful because it's a very fine powder, and it can be hazardous for the respiratory system.
