I like the way you get straight to the point in your lessons, I am supposed to acquire the proper syllable stress by repeating the whole sentense out loud with you. I wonder what is the RP, Cockney pronounciation for the word 'dreary' as I heard it spoken both ways, I mean which sound does represent ea sound.. is it i: or e: sound? please explain

Great video, I like your teaching style! On a sidenote, you said "being supposed to" requires the passive form. However, what about "I don't suppose you could lend me some money, could you?" Would that be considered gramatically flawed? Greetings!

+Mr Scrooge-Kraut Great question! I think we need a part 2 of this! In that sentence, "suppose" is the same as "imagine/think", as we also say "I don't imagine you could ... blahblahblah, could you!?" :)

@analuciadelrosarioserrepeh37488 жыл бұрын
Thank you Papa teach me, I have a query: I understood when to use "be supposed to" to expectation, but to obligation always do I have to use the negative of verb to be or it depend on , and if you write only "supposed to" it will change the meaning? for example when I say: I supposed to come here ....haha ok ok I think my question is confuse. Sorry because I am just intermediate level.
