The site is working. You just need to update to ofw 4.88 or 4.89 and then do the rest of the jailbreak.

On my ps3 i have 4.89, and bgtoolset showing i had 4.88. Isnt that going to brick my console?

Thought I'd bricked it, but it had just rebooted into recover mode! *EDIT* Managed to get it back using an official firmware from Sony.

did it go in recovery? if it did, you still can install cfw, cause ur probably running 4.89 and the toolset is 4.88, but still works just install cfw when it puts u in recovery

Gang, I started doing JB's with an Eflasher 10 years ago. I have used the BGtoolset as well since 2017. This toolset works fine. I have used this one well over 100 X and had no problems. I find when there is a problem it is generally USER ERROR! Mr. Tamski If you would provide more detail other than "I just bricked my console" I would be happy to explain to you what "YOU DID WRONG";). and can you explain to all of us, What exactly does it mean to brick a console?

@@BEASTMODGAMING Hi there, when I restarted my console after flashing there was a message stating that the firmware was corrupt and that the system could not boot. I managed to restore my PS3 by flashing back the original firmware. I was on 4.89 HEN version (was that my issue?) Perhaps I was a little panicked when stating I had bricked my console, was my problem trying to use the toolset on HEN? Thanks
