For people having the same issue as me I couldn't get the website to load it would just time out You can try using a different account, just make a new one or You can hold the power button while its turned off, it will beep and then beep again but keep holding down until it quickly beeps twice let go and select rebuild database This worked for me

I've done everything, i get up to installing the update off of the usb, but get the error code 8002f997 and idk what to do, File is now 4.90, I do the plug in, i restart the console, go to install update via storage device, gets to 70% and gives me that error code, idk what to do, please help, it says corrupted or something

I’m currently on 4.89 and I need to update my console to get back online but my system is jailbroken so I need to bypass the update so I don’t get console banned or loose anything I have on my console. A quick slight correct. At around 30 seconds you said only the 3000 series slims didn’t work on this jailbreak and that the rest of the slims worked. There are SOME 2500 models that also are not CFW compatible. Not many of them but they are out there. Other than that, great video

This was the EASIEST guide I've ever followed. I'd been dreading doing this for months and it took maybe 45 minutes. Also cool to see no major errors in my SYSCON. Just the power off 1001/1004. Now if I can figure out my bluray drive, I'll be perfect!

Make sure the USB is correctly plugged in at the rightmost of the PS3 USB port. If not, try changing that.

I succeeded in getting HEN 4.9 installed on my PS3 Super Slim, but today when I booted it up, although I see the HEN logo as it starts up, the Enable Hen Icon is missing from my home screen. Instead I just have a file path that starts with "a star Icon/app_home_PS3_GAME". Clicking on that just gives me an error. Is there a way to recover what seems to have been lost? I still have the Ultimate Toolbox installed, but I can't access WebMan Mod anymore either... If I browse anything HEN related using Ultimate Toolbox, the icons are just spinning around. :(

You don't lose anything with updates just like with official Sony firmware updates. You only lose stuff by formatting.

So this is probably a dumb question for the educated but ive been away from my PS3's for years now but today got a PS3 superslim dirt cheap.. a CECH-4205A firmware 4.87. Is this jb suitable for this one? I wouldnt mind having one fully updated and jailbroken.. Or if it doesnt work i might just install the latest "regular firmware". Whats the smartest thing to do? I need help with the ps3 flash memory part, I got a usb stick and formatted it to the FAT32 format, after that, I plugged it in to my ps3's right port. and the ps3 toolset was not detecting it either, so I plugged it in into my pc again and it says "please insert a disk into drive (D:)" How do I fix this :( I have no other usb stick. If anyone is able to help me on what to do in this situation, please reply to this comment.
