Or you can buy a J5 multi port with pass thru charging works great hdmi usbc and usb I got mine for about 35 dollars changed the game for me in table top mode in handheld as well but tabletop is safer. Some should do a video on it im just saying guarantees views without a doubt.

I don't actually have the orzly case but I've googled and the port looks kinda small for it to fit. since the homespot is designed to fit tightly to the bottom of the switch, the orzly grip will prevent it from being fully inserted into the Type-C port if you're trying to insert it from the outside. However, i think you can stretch the case out a bit and just plug the adapter inside

If the device is not connected to anything, it will always be searching for a device, it's the same as when your phone has bluetooth enabled, you don't have to repair every time you open your earbuds

I went and bought both turtle 600 and 700 gen 2. 700 was a bit flaky connecting and was a real pain with reestablishing a connection especially when you wake the switch from sleep mode. The 600 felt alot more comfortable and worked a treat. When the switch turns on (from sleep or power off) hold the head set close to the dongle and the headset connects straight away.. To add. Bluetooth voice to chat does not work. Even with a Bluetooth transmitor like the homespot adapter. You will get audio/music but no chat over Bluetooth. To get chat on the switch when it's docked you have to use a wireless headset that comes with a transmitor USB adapter.... And not all will work... This is typical of a company where everyone is trying to do their own little thing in a silo rather then make the end to end customer experience really great.

@@Vix2066 hey sadly no (my last reply to you got deleted) So in a nutshell if you use air pods or any blue tooth headset you will get audio but you won't be able to do voice. It's just the limitation of the Nintendo switch. 2 ways you can get this working for audio. 1. Go old school with a wired headphone with the old 3.5 jack. The kind you can plug into the switch. The type you got with your old iPhone. I used an old iPhone headphone cable with the audio jack and that worked. For audio and voice chat. I also tried a bose headset jack and that also worked. Get a few from Amazon and return what ever your not happy with :) The only way to get wireless audio and voice is to use a headset with an adaptor. For example I bought a turtle beach 600 from currys. The USB connector that comes with the headset connects to the USB port on your dock. Put the switch into the dock and switch it on. Switch on the headset and pair it. And that's it. You will get audio on your headset and you can use it to chat in games. You can use other headsets that have this kind of USB connector. You won't be able to use blue tooth headset. Good luck.

@@nasaspacemanwho6711 yeah I worked that out lol audio works fine but apparently mic wont work because switch is dodgy and doesnt recognise wireless mics, so I ordered one of the little mini mics that plugs into the aux port. No sure what the issue would be. Make sure both the adapter and your AirPods are in pairing mode. You have to open your AirPods case and hold the circle button on the back until they start blinking to pair them

Martin Ramirez it’s not really a headset problem. It’s more a Nintendo hardware or software problem. Third party games like Fortnite are using the built in headphone jack to allow multiplayer communication.

Yeah on the dock theres 2 USB ports so if you have to connect the controller to the dock aswell. On the switch itself I have to check if it has 2 ports. Otherwise you can just play using the joy-cons

Yea genkai is the adapter to use with a case thats what i use it has a spacer that is used for normal uncased switch then for a switch with a case on you remove the spacer and its fits perfectly.

All you guys raging in the comments, I'm the first to point out Nintendo's wrongdoings (Lazy 3D Mario ports but full price nonetheless). But the entire idea of the switch lite was to be affordable. They wanted the $200 price point, and to get there these days with modern tech you have to sacrifice some secondary or tertiary QOL features. It's the same idea as the Series X vs the Series S.
