Any idea of what resolution you can paint?

Do you know why at all the "no symbol" shows when I want to paint over my mountain. I click the brush and try again, still cant, everything 100% following your steps from startup and it suddenly wont let me paint. Always doing this too

All the comments are written by new users. The video does not show what it says in the title: "paint on your own material" First you would give a material with some noise effect and color. After that you would paint on it and the noise and color would be still there where you want.

Hi. Almost total newbie to Cinema 4D here. I just wanted to know what's the difference between using BP UV edit and BP 3D paint together and only BP 3D paint to create a material?

BP UV edit is used to edit your UV map before you paint on it. If you are using a simple cube or other simple object, you can skip straight to 3D paint to make a material, but if you have made something complex like a human model you'll probably need to mess with the UV map.
