Hello, to make circles you can use the shape tools as described in the brush section of the tutorial. What do you mean by « constantly go back to the previous layers »? Do you mean flipping the sheets? If so it is with three fingers. The two fingers gesture is to undo, or to display the floating menu if it’s a long touch.

@@Callipeg Hi , once again this is a great traditional animation app , use it a lot, but miss a few things like layer masks(this would help a lot with shading) and some kind of a light table / reference layer, you know when you can can choose a ref image of a character proportions and scale transform it and then reset those transformations , similar to reference tool but as an overlay layer on a canvas. @@animatekoiThank you! Regarding masks it needs a change in the structure of the render path to be done properly so we are still developing this part. Importing an image and using a transformation layer might be useful to achieve that "reference layer" effect. Do you have an example of that kind of tool in another software so we can understand what you need?

Hello, for now it is not possible because there are less brush settings in Callipeg. We have to build more settings to allow that kind of import. But we want to study this at some point! For now we are focusing on developing Callipeg for Android tablets.

Hello I’ve had this for about a year now and I love the app! I am looking to upgrade from a subscription to actually buying the app but I do not see any windows inside the app with that option. I only get the notification that it’s time to renew my subscription. How do I go about buying a full license for this app on iPad?

Hello, you have to cancel your subscription first, and whenever it has ended you will see the Welcome panel again when opening Callipeg (with the Buy options). Be sure to not uninstall Callipeg along the way, it would delete all your shots. I advise you to regularly backup your Callipeg files (.peg) by exporting them outside of the « On my iPad > Callipeg » folder. I hope this helps, thank you for your support!

Hello, you can use the selection tool, then long touch with two fingers to display the floating menu: from there you can tap the copy icon, go to the sheet you want and tap the paste icon.

You can long touch on the red marker, which is the Mark Out point and drag it where you want. You can also double tap on the ruler at the top of the timeline at tap OUT to set a Mark Out marker.

After verification, we did address this issue in the beta and it'll be fixed in the upcoming hotfix update. It happens only when brush smoothing is at 0 so for now you can set it to 1 or above and it will work.

Hello, what do you mean by flip a layer? Transform horizontally or vertically several sheets? You can select multiple sheets (tap then tap and drag), tap transform icon, then flip/mirror with the dash icon in the floating bar on the side.

Callipeg has come a long way, since its first release. Have been using it as a hobbyist ever since. The only thing I would prefer is if you could get an option to put the timeline on the top. Sometimes, the tip of my pinky finger hits it, after I lift the Pencil. Hiding it via the top button can get tedious and changing its size can get a bit disorientating. Is there a gesture to hide and show it? That would also help a lot instead.

Hello, are you using an official Apple Pencil? Callipeg is currently only compatible with the official Apple Pencil. You can go to the Settings, Canvas tab and Enable Finger Drawing to see if your third-party stylus is detected as a finger by the iPad.
