I appreciate the feedback from everyone. Note that I show at the end a video for the method on being able to join voice calls on Discord which is why I didn't mention it till the end. Instead of making 1 long video, I opted to split them into multiple videos so that you as a viewer can find them easier. If you are just after 1 method for everything Discord can do, this is the best one here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnfOZ4VuedifqNU. That said, that method isn't free, if you want free methods that are just a little worse, then check out the ones linked at the end of the video.

NOTE: You can't speak with someone this way on Discord, that's why in the left bottom corner his mic and headset icons are crossed out, once you try to unmute this you'll get an pop up that you've to download the app on your device, and they Apple, Windows etc etc but not PlayStation or Xbox consoles.

why cant sony just release discord chat. no one cares about discord status. sonys chat system is junk, you cant invite people to a chat more then once, you cant talk to people if your in a chat, you need to exit out of a chat then create a party to talk to more then 1 person. this is more confusing then using my pc. at least allow me to send invites to a party something very simple.

Yes you stay logged in. Even if you turn your PS5 off, you will always remain logged into that Discord account on that specific PSN account unless you clear the browser's cache in system settings or log out manually on the Discord page. I believe I briefly mentioned this in the vid :)

@Noobzy I am talking about PS5, and not PS4. Furthermore, you are mistaken. Playstation4 does have capacity. Netflix, amazon prime video, and other apps needs way more hardware than Discord. The whole point is that use your phone instead of have the app in your console is pointless. Nothing else on Playstation needs a cellphone in the way to use an app. This is the samething as needing to use your phone to have Spotify running. Anyways it doesn't matter. everyone is complaining about the same thing.. why didn't they made the app for Playstation.
