Number 6 is something definitely wish I knew before starting. I kinda stressed trying to find every bot I could on my first go in each level. The bird made things so much easier.

You wouldn't know there were 305 bots though, unless you read about the 4 hidden ones. Also don't need them for platinum. I'd done 301/301 then read about the 4 hidden bots, updated astros playroom and found them.

I have to thank you for something that’s not even in this video: Haptic Feedback During Console Navigation !! When I opened the controller settings to make sure Haptic was set to strong, I came upon this. Turned it on for the first time ever. So thanks!! 😂😂

2:01 honestly for me gran turismo was the easiest one and the only one I haven’t used guides for. The only thing I get to know from internet was how many stars I need to step on. The fact that I need to step on stars, where they are and order + where is wheel and what to do with it I figured out alone Also I didn’t use guides for first one, but person talking with me watched and was guiding me at some point so I haven’t done that alone. Returnal was the hardest one. How was I supposed to find out that I need to die while standing on the astronaut toy?

This is really interesting because I actually thought Returnal & the Bloodborne one were the easiest to figure out yourself 😅 I properly don't get how you are meant to realise how to do the GT one still though; like how are you meant to figure out which stars and the order without a guide? 😅 Then finding the wheel as well at the other side too, good stuff to you and others figuring this all out yourself 👏🏼 Thanks for watching 😊

@@Octorious I stepped on the starfish under bridge, heard weird sound and realized that it may be a order to step on them, then I stepped on the second one in the order after trying the one under the tree and at this moment I knew it was an order

Another thing. If you played Astro Bot Rescue Mission, this game is more of the same, but not as immersive or fun. It is a faster playing game, longer, and incorporates a lot of PlayStation nostalgia but still with same/similar enemies, similar boss battles, same/similar music, same/similar movement to Astro, etc. I am not saying Astro Bot should have been VR, but the current Astro platforming formula shines best in the VR space. Personally, I blame Sony for not having a DualSense (or a specific VR version) with proper motion tracking compatible with PSVR2).

After like a year of 24hr work on it per day, gotta promote it somehow 😅 What you will notice though is it's technically the 8th option. I didn't want to go against the title so bundled 2 tips into 1 of the earlier ones, allowing me to put that as number 7 so more people would see it without the viewer getting less than what the title claimed 😅 Thanks for watching 😊

i will say--this game is 100 percent perfect 100 percent fun---and 100 percent worth every penny-- if you have hard time finding all the astrobots in each level the first time--for few coins you can get a thing that flies over you and has a radar to point you in the right direction---so no need to ask for any help on this for that matter

Hey! Any footage in Astro Bot itself is recorded direct on the PS5 at 4K60fps. For the PS5 UI stuff though, I use a capture card set to 1440p60fps. Thanks for watching 😊

It can be found at the beginning (in different locations) of every level when you revisit a planet. It’s in a breakable glass container. It costs 200 coins with the first use.

@JefoneChiu Definitely is ok for triggers, but for the sense based haptic mechanics I'd advise dialing it up a little, not strictly necessary though.

For me I did as you showed and it still does the microphone bits trigger automatically is there a setting to change that?

@theplague1959 If your controller microphone is unmuted, and the microphone is forced to be the one on the controller and not the headset, and it's still forcefully triggering them, my best advice would be to reboot the game. There isn't any other setting to adjust this unfortunately, so it may be a case of Astro just not having picked up the change. Thanks for watching 😊

In this case, it's purely a coincidence that the ones I wanted to speak about happened to stack up to 7 (technically 8 as I rolled 2 together). However, most of the time you'll see people use 7 because it always gets more clicks. Something to do with human psychology has us more attracted to the number 7 because it seems more "random" than 6, or 8 for instance, and we also associate it as not being too few or too many to avoid clicking. It's weird but there's research behind it 😅 Thus most of us creators will use 7 when we can haha. Thanks for watching 😊
