Bro! You have no idea how much I wanted to thank you when I followed your steps on my laptop! On the other hand when I ran the test on my ps4 pro. I was disappointed. I have Gt-ac5300 and I tried deferent speed on up and downloaded and nothing worked on my ps4. Even the idle measure is jumping up. While on my laptop is just heaven. If you please could you help, I will appreciate it. I want to get rid of that nightmare, cuz I have a vdsl 100 down and 5o up and should have good result on ps4.

Id leave it with pc as ps4 is not a good test since i tried on ps4 pro its been not good for testing plus dsl reports has become alittle unreliable so best is to use the ping table in geo filter with the send and recieve and host send recieve data as long as they are consistent you should have a good game

I agree with you but since I saw that you tested it on ps4 web browser and the result is great, I went crazy! Do you think I should change my Gt-ac5300 with xr500? Does the xr500 support ps4 more than the asus one? I am able to do that by the way.

On top of that, today I tried an ssd hard drive instead of the original one, cuz I thought maybe the browser is slow on ps4 and that is the reason why it doesn't match with my PC! Didn't work!

IAmSlowMo there are other routers that do congestion or as it called bandwidth control as well depends where you live all I can suggest is Google router with bandwidth or congestion control and geo filtering

The anti flood effect all devices it reduces the possible bottle neck of too much at once netduma suggests 70% to start at if that helps

In regards to your question fiber is faster then standard if you have fiber all the way to the house, But saying this ping is king so if you can lower your ping and its consistently low with little to no jitter id say stick with that, as it only takes kilobits to play games not mbps.

You want all devices to run through netduma essentially as you can use congestion control more effectively

If you have a dsl line which is not full fiber if you check with your provider, what this mean is you have copper to your home to the exchange and then fiber from there to your provider if you live uk this will be probably be it if you are bt etc. The netduma r1 doesnt work well with ipv6 so in that case yes disable it any other routers it will depend as some have it some dont, but only disable if its netuma r1 gaming router

How do I check about the NetDuma version as the Router I have is the XR500 Nighthawk and also I have Virgin Media.

you need to select preemptive not reactive. You haven't got speeds over 50. And if you need any help on how to make your ping really low let me know ill be glad to help. I've had my netduma for 3 years now and done every setting possible

dslreports is a site you can go on using ps4 or pc to test ping donwload and upload and bufferbloat
