That autofocus drove me nuts!!!

After years of using this binding I have resorted to fully locking the toe piece before stepping into the binding in the transition phase. Once engaged in the rear I lower the front lever. This process stops the annoying swivel of the front piece helping to lock in the rear first time around.

I didn’t know that I could put the break up AFTER I turned the heel tower to the right. This will save me so much time, and save my fingers.

Try doing all this on a steep slop in powder snow .... good luck. All looks great on a work bench in the shop but our experience on trying to squeeze the two little connections on the front toe connections in heavy snow is no fun at all.
