​@@angrybeavers1175 I was so disappointed with this thermostat that my HVAC company replaced it with a Honeywell Home thermostat on my brand new heat pump installation that is far superior in every way. No more disappearing icons, having to negotiate with this piece of junk, and the Honeywell displays far more information about inside and outside atmospheric conditions, automatically maintains constant temperatures between my heating and cooling setpoints, and is much more user friendly.

@@angrybeavers1175 Granted that neither I nor my contractor were intrigued enough to alter our own thought methodology to accommodate this marvel of wokeness. But even if we had, it would never have provided the real time information that the Honeywell does without another round of manual negotiation, going from screen to screen for what you want. I didn't even like the fact that it would change its display information every time you walked by it. You didn't by any chance vote for Biden, did you?

@@jbj27406 I believe there is a setting where you can turn the AI off, and have it just function as a normal thermostat.

I'm surprised he didn't go over the most important feature, which is the PIN LOCK. I haven't found any videos on the Ecobee Enhanced model that demonstrates the PIN LOCK feature.

How many weeks can be programmed? I work two weeks shifts and i need a two weeks programmable thermostat.. Wou;d that be able to be programmed for two weeks???

It would be nice to be able to see the other gold options. For example, in another one of your videos you show an option to be “decide at time.” How does this pop up and what options does it give you? Very important for people who use hold a lot because they have irregular schedules.

A couple questions I wish I knew the answer to: - Can it determine AWAY based on your cell phone? I ask this because I may not walk by the thermostat for hours at a time, and also I have a dog that could trigger the sensors when I'm gone - Many people have asked wanting to be able to set that nice weather display, or week forecast to stay permanently on the screen instead of the temperature. While I don't believe that's possible, someone claims to have achieved it by covering the proximity sensor with a piece of electrical tape. Does this really work?

Question so I recently installed a similar one but when i try to switch it to cool I literally doesnt give me options as to heat or cold what should i do in this situation

It seems the fan scheduling is limited. Can it be scheduled to run the fan only, say, 10min/hr from like from 6am to 11am, and 13-19pm?

my Thermostat does not present the option to lower or higher the temperature, by clicking on the temperature numbers on the home screen - is that a setting I can change. Running the Ecobee Enhanced Thermostat - purchased Nov. 2023

My cheap, digital Honeywell thermostat was much easier to use and program.
