I love this watch. It's lighter, or at least feels lighter, than the 5 Classic and 5 Pro. The buttons feel better designed for finger placement for measurements.

Do you know how to stop intermittent vibrations when it is set to always on mobile data in the connection settings? Every few minutes it vibrates once, then 3 times. The whole point of having the esim means having this connection setting. Any help greatly appreciated. Great presentation.

Great video , first thing I noticed was how much better the sound and vibration are on the ultra. I do love this design , and the strap fitting is so much better now . I wasn't sure about the orange band at first , but i do like it it now , just gad to get used to it , coming from the black 6 classic with a black band , I never really used the rotating bezel on the 6 classic , so I don't miss it at all Be interesting to see if they do another ultra next year

Great upload. I may still go for the 'ordinary' watch 7. I find it hard to believe the Ultra is 300 euros dearer for the same screen size as the 7. I am still using my original Galaxy Watch from 4 years ago, maybe I'll upgrade with the 7.

Thanks for taking the time to create this video. I’m having a hard time finding answers to whether or not activating the LTE with a carrier is required or not as well as what features are lost when not using LTE. Furthermore, does the watch nag you if you don’t connect LTE? I want this watch, but I absolutely do not want to pay another monthly subscription and want to be sure that LTE isn’t required and understand what I’m loosing without it.

LTE is absolutely not required to function the watch. It will function normally whilst connected to Bluetooth to your phone or WiFi when not in range of your phone. LTE is only functional when wanting a connection whilst away from your phone whilst outdoors. The watch will not bother you though if you don't want to connect it to LTE, it will just carry on as normal!

Any way to add routines to the watch? I want to add a routine to turn on LTE when watch disconnects from my phone (looses Bluetooth connection) and turn it back off (LTE) when connected again.

also another tip, sometimes when your handling your watch and you don't want to accidentally trigger your screen, so you turn on water lock. and when you are done it makes that noise. The noise is needed to clear out water. But if you are using water lock just simply to lock screen, and not for any water activities, you can basically skip the annoying sound by pressing the button again to cancel. So you don't have to have the noise play out the whole few seconds or so. xd

I turn on water lock a lot when my kids are around 😅 just to stop them grabbing my wrist and accidentally activating things. The water lock mode on here has gotten really loud too so the water shoots out really nicely

Reviews and unboxings aren't intended as instructions on how to open the box. They are to relate an experience. If I'm going to spend $750+ on a watch, I might want to know about the quality. You can tell a lot about quality from packaging, and Apple, for example, has that down to an art. Seeing the attention to detail in the packaging tells me a lot about the fit and finish of the product inside.

I got my pre order. After 4 days the GWU went crazy. It restarts intermittently. I’ve reset it and problem still persists the nexr day. Now waiting for the SC to rectify the problem. I’ve used 3 AW’s including the Ultra, none of them give me problems.

Hmm sounds like a potential warranty issue. I've used 2 different Watch Ultra's now and have had no performance issues or restarts. Hopefully the service centre can sort it out!

word of caution, if you are using in shower, the gigs up if you are using soap and shampoo. samsung explicitly warned not to get ur watch covered with the stuff when showering. you look it up if you want, but that is what i read.
