How to use “first” and “last” in English sentences

Hello. I'ｍ a Japanese high school student. Your lecture was good because you used plain English. Most Japanese students are able to write and read English but not able to speak or listen to despite learning English for about ６years. So the government has tackled such ploblem to improve our English skill,however it doesn't work very much.I think this reason is we don't have chances to touch native English. I will recommmend this lesson to my friends.(I'd be grateful if you check this sentence.

I like this lesson because I frequently use expressions with “first” and “last”. I first discovered engVid in March 2020. I try to watch all the latest engVid videos because I think all the teachers are topnotch in ESL education and I really like this classroom style lesson. I feel like I became a student again and I’m in the classroom.

Thank you teacher . the lesson is useful . that last time and the first time . for example . when I swa her the first time my heart love her . my last birthday was last year . my first love was when I was younger . these examples for to use the words "last and first" .
