Hi George. Used Flowpoint smooth charcoal on black limestone setts today! I use it in small amounts so I will weigh off 5kg and mix with 850ml of water. I’ve started using sealers before I use flowpoint now. Get about 15m2 from a bag when jointing regular sandstone mix size kits. Makes cleaning off and spreading it out way way easier, especially in summer when you’ve got 10 mins before it’s setting.

I absolutely 💯 love watching all of this being done but I do not understand how it works at all. I don't understand how the bits in the joints cures up hard enough but the bits on top of the bricks doesn't so you can wash it away? The bit on top of the bricks is a lot thinner then the bits in the joints so you would think that it would cure up way before the bits in the joints and thus making it impossible to simply rinse off. This stuff is scientific magic in my eyes. Just so fascinating 🤗🤗🤗
@Matipolandscaping
@Matipolandscaping Жыл бұрын
The cement in the flow point is denser than water so it sinks into the joint and can cure.. leaving the more watery mix to sit on the surface..by keeping it moving and misting the surface it allows the joints to cure, leaving the surface still liquid... I'm no scientist 😂😂 but that's how I understand that it works 🤷‍♂️ it is incredible stuff for sure!
