I´d put Flaps on that switch, but three positions is sufficient in most cases, so not that useful..

I just use it as a disarm switch for my throttle on planes. I have a glider that I need to use lots of ridder for but it's uncomfortable to hold the throttle stick down so much, so I have a throttle disarm switch setup in Fly mode so I can have the throttle at a comfortable position so I can use rudder.

Flywing fw450 uses fly mode to switch between gps mode,3d mode, programmed flight patterns.

Just got my FS-i6S about a week ago. The fly mode defaults to "off" and ship with the throttle spring remove. (Remove throttle spring ship together in case you need to place it back.) I'm a beginner to FPV/Drone, bought this because of the easy direct cable connection to Drone Simulation like LiftOff.

Hi, Adam, and thanks for your really helpful videos. I'm uncertain about the 'FlyMode' setting. You state - 'However, I think this feature is unnecessary and overcomplicated (at least for typical FPV quad stuff).' My question is , when I set up (my fixed wing), can I just leave the Fly Mode at 'None' or 'Off' ? Thank you, Den

Thanks. You will need to use the betaflight configurator to setup airmode for your quadcopter.

Hey Adam/anyone reading here... I cannot get SWD (switch D) on the right to work at all. I'm in PWM/PPM as opposed to iBus. Always had trouble setting up iBus with the i6s. Can anyone explain why I might not be getting SWD working?
