Wonderful cards. And I love how all of those prints came out. A tip for the reinkers beading up, you can put Versamark ink on the gel plate first, then the reinkers (& even sprays if you use them) will not bead up on the plate. I’m sure it would work great too if the ink pads continue to bead.

I actually tried that with one of them and did notice a bit of a difference! I know that's how you can stamps to stamp cleanly from the get-go. I'll have to try it again!

Addicting, aren't they? Check out the 8 1/2 x 11 press, you can do some amazing tthings - multiple techniques on one print - with it. Totally with you on that alcohol ink print, that's my favorite. Enjoy!

Despite my initial disappointment at ink beading on the gel press, some of those prints became favorites because of the texture they provide.

That's true! I do kind of like that little droplet look!

You can put Versamark ink on the gel press first & it will stop the inks from beading up. Just a little tip if you’re really wanting smooth prints. But the beads do add some fun texture sometimes.

I'd be reluctant to use alcohol-based hand sanitizer to clean a rubber brayer regularly. Some folks don't clean their brayers (other than to roll off excess) between prints, but when paint does accumulate, find a soak in Murphy's Oil Soap allows them to peel off layers of acrylic (which they might then use in mixed media).

I don't use it that often...only when I use alcohol inks, but since it is Tim's brayer and that is what he used I am thinking it is probably ok!
