I was excited when I got my Crane M3. Unfortunately, I watched a video that told me to connect it to my cellphone with the YT Play app. It then asked me to update the firmware. Once I did that, none of the motors worked anymore. The screen was lit up but it has basically dead in the water. I ended up returning it and will look into the Crane M2s (but wont do any firmware updates)

Congrats! Hope you enjoy this gimbal as much as I do! I'm not sure how much damage it will cause to the motors, but I've had the mistake of turning on the gimbal a few times while to axes are still locked in storage position, so far my gimbal is fine, but I think we should try to avoid that as much as possible! :)

Hi! The smaller gimbals like the Crane M2 would be enough for the S22 and some smaller camera setups, but may be unusable for heavier setups. It would be best to determine first what your potential future setup might be, but a phone on a big gimbal may be fussy too. :)

Hi! I have a brand new m3, I've only used it once or twice. Recently, every time I turn it on, it beeps and shakes then goes into sleep mode. When i hold done the M button, it will wake up but only for a second before beeping again and going back into sleep mode. I've already updated to the latest software and nothing I seem to do will fix it. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi! I've had this problem with my other gimbals when I first had it. The issue I encountered then was that the gimbal was not balanced properly. Maybe that could be the issue in your case, too? I just received my M3 last night and had this same issue. My fix was to manually balance the gimbal and then in the menu tell the gimbal to run through a balance routine. The balance routine is key and a step I missed.
