Hi Brandon, a great review as always! Just one question. When you shot the footage in this video, did you leave the IBIS ON or OFF? Asking because even though it is the best practice to leave it OFF for the catalyst browse, I wonder if we could get away with IBIS ON and decide whether to use catalyst in post.
@BrandonLiUnscripted3 жыл бұрын
IBIS off for gyro stabilization. It will create unpredictable results.

Two questions…. As I understand it, to use catalyst browse effectively, you have to shoot at a high frame rate (60fps or higher). Assuming you ARE shooting at a high framerate, why do you still need ND filters? (Assuming your shooting 120 shutter)

Great review brotha! If it struggles with just your 28mm then it's probably a no go for me. The jerky pan movements reminds me of my Zhiyun Crane 3 Lab as well, which I'm not impressed with. I am however impressed with gyro stabilization and it's something I've used on occasions after talking to you about it. Interesting to know that inverting the A7siii negates eye/face detect 🤔

The only issue with gyro, it does not work well with 1080p60 and 1080p120. I tried with a7c and the image is degraded too much. It works great in 4k24. The issue is we need 1080p to have slow motion. So gyro is not good for that. I will find a gimbal that does not require gyro stabilization and where we can use ibis. Then i will try to combine gyro + gimbal to see what the result are. Now which gimbal? Weebill s or weebill 2 or rs2
@CC-gt3ro3 жыл бұрын
Other people got good result with a7c and 17-28 and a7siii and prime lens. I didn’t see the jitters Brandon Li is talking about. Maybe he is not used to small gimbal that require more attention in the technics. Of course it is lighter so react more easily to movements.

Hello, I bought the crean M3 this time, and I want to ask you a question because I have a question. If the panning shaft does not move smoothly when rotating, whether the setting is strange in the current gimbal's smoothing part, and it is not rude to you, can I ask for the smoothing setting value?

With sony you loose the eye af with pc remote anyway. So i suppose you don’t connect the camera to the gimbal and use the camera button instead. I think eye af work with pc remote only in 1080p if i don’t mistaken.
