Anson, you are the most precise google instructor on KZbin IMHO - I've searched the internet and cannot find anything that addresses my problem. I have to give my gmail password to a colleague to access my emails whilst I'm away from the office. There are folders in my google drive that I do not want him to have access. Can I password protect my personal folders but still have them have access to the Shared Folders in drive?

How do I add a description to choices in a multiple choice question? The reason I want to do this is so that when I look at the spreadsheet with all of my answers, I do not see the explanation to the choices. (I know the explanation. I am using the explanation to clarify the choice.) I realize that I am assuming that the description will not show up on the spreadsheet.

Do I have to key it in the googleform directly or can it be linked to a source from a google sheet. I update the google sheet with new product and it will show up in the google form? 2. How do we set up conditional Fields. For example, if I said I had a pet=yes, some new fields would appear asking me what type of pet I had not answer =no, there would be no related question that came up. 3. If I wanted to view the results of a survey with 100 results as of now, I could open all all the results aggregated in a. Googlesheet, yes? So when I then have 200, respondents to my survey, do I open up the same google sheet to review all the results as of then or is it a new googlesheet?

Google Forms would have to be THE most difficult program to use. I have spent untold hours over the last 4 days trying to get it to work. When I test it I get the date format I want, DD/MM/YYYY. When my wife tests it, she gets MM/DD/YYYY. There seems to be nowhere in the set-up where can choose the format when you create the form.

This most likely has to do with your location settings on your Google account. Most countries use a different date format than the US.

You know Google Form collects date, time and email...without you asking for it...Right? The date and time is for if you want to ask someone "what date or time do you want to do X"

Hey Anson, I am having trouble with Google recovery “Gmail.” Recently, I unfortunately had to reset my iPhone to factor settings and lost data. I downloaded the Gmail app again and started the Gmail account recovery process. Unfortunately, I didn’t remember the most recent password for the account and provided all details for the verification with exception to month year of account creation. Utilized the phone recovery code and the email that was used to create the account for yet another recovery code. After, the process the Gmail prompt stated that it was unable to verify the account belongs to me. Figuring the account might have been hacked or pirated. Completed that process with the same results. Also, saw the account hadn’t been changed the phone number (my number) was still linked to the account, the profile picture was the same and the security question provided were the same. It would be impossible for anyone other than me to access the account. It would mean that the “hacker” would have to be able to access this phone, and would know the email with password used to create the account. Meaning that the error in recovery is either my fault or Googles system for recovery? For a fact all the information provided for recovery with exception to password and month year are correct. Would have data loss created this issue? I still have the original laptop that I believe the account was created on but unfortunately that laptop was destroyed from an IED. Data was recovered from it but there is a large chunk of shrapnel that makes the makes the computer totally useless. I am not sure what else to do to recover this account. It has some REALLY important emails on it. How do I recover this before losing everything?
