Thanks for this. I now understand how Google Trends works. I used to do keyword research using Google Trends and wondered why my blog isn't getting traffic? Now I know why. Ahrefs subscription channel makes it easier for me to stop wasting my time on online products that won't help me gain traffic to my blog. Also, Ahref tutorials also make me understand how Google works which is important for me as an affiliate marketer that is trying to make money through blog monetization.

Definitely! It's actually the first tool I use on every research - even before ahrefs (I'm sorry)! Just because it gives so much insights on which topics/keywords/phrases to focus on. After that I run every thing through ahrefs. I found this to be the best order as it really helps to avoid some research not even worth it. Also it helps me to find topics easier than the "usual" keyword-research via searchvolumes. That said messing around with google suggestions/autocomplete is a nice thing too to discover topics.

Definitely. Have you looked through the "Search Suggestions" report in Ahrefs' Keywords Explorer? The keywords come from search suggestions like you mentioned, but you'll see a lot more keywords there than in Google (plus all of the important keyword metrics). If you haven't checked it out, give it a shot. You'll love it 🙂

What is better to have for example 1 domain with: aaa com with many different subfolder like: aaa com/directory1 aaa com/directory2 aaa com/directory3 etc. or many domains like: directory1 com directory2 com directory3 com And we have 2 Cases: the same "niche" and different "niche" like" mobile repair" niche and "mobile repair & car rent" niche on same domain (or here we can use subdomain better, but also no domain for each niche) I think to use the same domain with subfolder or subdomain is better than have many domains, I am right?

Excellent vid. What I love about introducing Google Trends into your research is that it really brings marketing into the 3rd dimension. No point in investing in content for a topic of declining interest. If Ahrefs were to create a tool like Google trends only more granular, can you even imagine the possibilities?

Agree on the third dimension that a lot of other tools leave out. We do show a search volume and clicks trend in our Keywords Explorer tool which provides a different layer than Trends 🙂
