Multicam is possible with the built-in timecode. Aside from Adobe Premiere, which takes advantage of this to sync multiple cameras in post, is a new comer to GoPro Multi-cam viewing and logging is FutureVideo's Multi-View HD Pro 2. Easy to use, automatically sync's up 8 GoPro videos for viewing at the same time.

so what buy the 13 which looks the same then gotta replace all the batteries the spare for the 11-12 ive got because they won't fit in the 13. GoPro do that so we gotta spend more on the new batteries that's stupid.

Why is this camera not provided with a magnetic charging system? Where as the magnetic charging system is mentioned during the promotion, I am talking about charging system with eight dots.

It is interesting at 13:31 the Hero 13 became a Hero 14, according to the front display, after recording was stopped from the Quik app. Quik for Mac has been out for a long time. There are many more Windows users than Mac users. Quik for Windows was originally promised at the end of 2023, then Summer 2024 but it is still not available.

Do you still have a preview image in the app during recording? Unfortunately, this wasn't possible with the Hero 11, but was only possible again with the Hero 12 - I hope Gopro hasn't changed this again.

Quik is useless unless you pay a subscription. Literally useless, like you can't do anything with it. You download it, install it, transfer some videos, create a highlights edit, and then it says "to export/save this vide, please pay a subscription" like jesus christ

Personally I find the preview on the app useful, because I can set the GoPro somewhere and leave it and still see the recording.

I use it to change the camera settings over Bluetooth. No subscription required. For all editing, I simply use other apps. So no, Quik is not useless

I lost my video as my subscription was over. Oh yeah did I mention they have 30 days warning ⛔️ after expiration of subscription, but here is the catch we can download 25 videos in a single time if you keep multiple downloads the links 🔗 gets expired 😅. I lost my precious videos more than 1TB

So it’s the same gopro 12 with a different battery, and a magnetic mount. Not worth the £800 plus to get the camera, lens and charger. When i already have the 12 plus all the lenses that i dont use. The dji osmo action 4 was the best up grade ive done, even the pocket 3 is way better. Sorry gopro my love affair with you is over. You missed the ball on this update.

I don't own a Gopro or a DJI, but a Sony FDR X3000 and I'm planing to do an upgrade. Yet, DJI seems more reliable and more fitting for what I need. And more affordable as well. I don't need 400fps or 6K... just make the camera reliable and easy to use. From outside, gopro is not doing well innovation wise. It's expesive as well with nothing that I cannot find at other competitors.

Quik is garbage. The camera always freezes or disconnects. You have to pay a subscription for basic features EVERY other camera does for free. You guys are going bankrupt within 5 years.

I received my useless GoPro today , YOU CANNOT USE OUT THE BOX you will need an SD CARD and a good charger as if you don’t have an adapter it’s won’t charge, if you want the destined close up your need a lens , your need a TRIPOD that fits , it all about ACCESSORIES then your need millions of pounds for SUBSCRIPTION
