Alec: I did a couple of pre-recorded interviews with Ecamm this past week, and once again you answered an issue I ran into. I'm blown away at how in sync your content has been with my Ecamm needs? Thanks again, for thinking about the newbie's and creating just what we need.

it would be smarter if when clicking on introducing the guest window to the left or right(for example) we didn't need to remove it before if it was already in full screen, just change the orientation according to the choice of window layout, this function is very useful but there is still a lot to be improved, especially if you use it in practice with more than one guest at the same time. Nice video btw.

Thanks for the tutorial. When you use "record only" mode, are you able to record multiple guests as isolated video tracks or are you stuck with only one video?
@TakeOneTech3 жыл бұрын
In theory the recording is just the output from Ecamm and there are no separate tracks. One possible solution though, if you intend to edit afterwards, is to record in 4k, but then assign the host and up to three guests in quarters of the screen…. You could then bring that video into and editor and crop into each of the quarters which would in effect be 1920x1080. In some ways this defeats part of the object of using Ecamm, but It can be useful in certain circumstances!

@@TakeOneTech That's a good solution given the circumstances. Thank you.

Hey Alec.. How about Screensharing for the guest. What if they want to share their browswer. how does that display
@TakeOneTech3 жыл бұрын
There is no built in screen sharging capability from the guest side with Ecamm Live Interview mode. The only way a guest would be able to do that is if they had some form of virtual camera software on their own computer and then they could switch to that camera for screen sharing. But as I say, there is no built in screen sharing on the guest side as you would have with Zoom, for example…. It is not trying to be a Zoom replacement, but can be a great addition to Zoom, for example bringing guest speakers into a meeting or webinar style environment.
