There are a few ways to angle off when fighting on the inside. It’s important to be able to cut angles because it limits your opponent’s ability to go on the offense while also giving you clear openings. Another benefit is that this type of JKD footwork lines your feet properly to generate an adequate amount of force from this tighter distance.

Thanks a million William. Jeet Kune Do, the martial art that we teach, has a very heavy boxing influence. Bruce Lee was a huge fan of boxing and liked that it was more real than at than modern day karate of that time. All good strikers should study the right way to punch 🤜 🥊💥
