I have plantar fasciitis and my physiotherapist taped me up with rigid tape a couple of times, which helped a lot. But I can't go to fysio every few days so I asked if I could do it at home. I've been doing it for a while using a video she showed me but rigid tape is starting to be too restrictive. So this was super helpful, especially with explanations on the anchors and tension! I'll see if this helps for the next few days 😊

I absolutely love this taping! I'm a PTA but have not been able to find the best taping for my own plantar fasciitis! I have always had serious bilateral pronation starting in my 20's. I managed it well with my podiatrist who made me beautiful leather orthotics. But now I am in my early 70's, still walking about 90 miles a month. My fat pads have diminished and the leather orthotic isn't as comfortable. I stopped using them but then I developed the fasciitis. I taped myself last week, after watching your video, and for the first time in months I am able to walk in my hiking boots and not have any pain! I really appreciate your decision to develop a moderate taping that stays on for days. 🥰 Do you have a taping for a patella subluxation that comes and goes?

Find a good massage therapist and get your quads worked on! If your patella is drifting, tight quads and/or IT band could be the culprit!

Was just thinking about doing some taping. P.F. socks were painful for the ankle & top of foot... EXCRUCIATING PAIN now everywhere. Too fun

What the heck is that taping method actually accomplishing? It doesn’t seem like you’ve done anything but put blue k tape on a relaxed foot. So why bother?kt tape recommends a flex like she started with until you relaxed her foot.

I used it tape. It made a huge difference. I was pointing out this particular videos taping method.

The goal is to add lift to the arch. He puts her into plantar flexion so the plantar fascia is shortened. Then when she’s in dorsiflexion, the tape tightens and lift is created. If she began in dorsiflexion, when her feet were flat on the floor the tape would be at its loosest.
