Thanks for the tips on doing this. Looks a lot easier when you do it. :-) I had to cover a large plate with 4" wide polypropylene tape and what a fun time that was. I'll try the glass cleaner next time and hopefully it'll work the same.

Try popping the bubbles with a sharp exacto and pushing air out

Try flipping tape over on the table get it flat and place glass on top.

Have you guys ever tried kapton straight onto a flexible steel bed? Wondering if the tape has enough give, to stick while allowing minor flex - to help initial part removal

How often do you have to reapply and would it be worth applying directly to my bed without the glass top

You reapply any time it gets messed up, which is often. Best to use on the glass, as it sticks really well, may not stick to your actual bed, but wouldn't hurt.

What I don't understand, is how the water/windex under the tape ever manages to get out; or is it that there will always that layer between the tape and the water?

The water all comes out when it warms up :)

Would a heat gun not help with the bubbles like by this vinyl foils it does?

Not really since it doesn't stretch til very high temperatures, unlike regular vinyl wrap. The water helps a lot because you can squeeze out the bubbles :)

@@WaschyNumber1 I don't think drinking isopropyl alcohol will make your print problems go away, and is in fact quite hazardous. In turn, applying india pale ale to the print bed... i think carbohydrates will serve as release agent, so it's unlikely to work, but it's safe to try.

I believe so! Our adhesive definitely does work with PETG, as well.

No problem! Not actually sure of the context of your comment, but are you saying you want to see it with a print on it? Looks just like any other surface.... we don't sell it, but it can be found on Amazon or other 3D printing shops :)

So painful to watch. Is like you have 2 left hands... and there are two of you there. I do it solo, and takes about 1 minute. Also, don't use that tool, use a tools for aplying stickers on the winshield, if you don't have that use a credit card to get the bubbles and water out. The best practice is to use a little kapton tape also. You waste so much of it. But this is just my oppinion. Excuse my poor use of english language!
