Use only the large grove for your krimps and you are good dosent matter whit material the large grove is the better one for both crimps

testing it with IQ2 one end with a knot one with Krimp, it cuts off on the krimp side several times. Think a good knot is better on most materials

Iq2 is a soft fluorocarbon & therefore not the best with krimps, I don't recall seeing him using this in the video. Stick to boom, mouth trap or a stiff coated & you'll find it quite adequate..

Please help !!! Things are not going well for me. I do everything as shown and explained, but during the test my fluorocarbon slips out of the crimp!?!?!?!? I have been using these crimping pliers for 1 year and so far I have not I have had such a problem. Where am I wrong? What's wrong? The only thing that comes to my mind is that the fluorocarbon is already a little old, sufficiently sunburned and has depreciated. Please give advice. Thank you in advance.

Just so I've got this right, it's the S mark for the large crimp and the L mark for the small crimp, its all a bit confusing, i dont think ali explained this enough :-)

Do the newer Krimping tools still snap at the handles like the previous 4 I have had to keep getting replaced at the shop? Daren’t use the last set in case they snap again... I know I am not the only person to have suffered this as every shop I speak to has had quite a few returned with same problem! Even some of the Korda sponsored lads I speak to regularly also have had it happen to them (not going to mention names as not fair on them).

Hang on... the back of the package at the bottom says "not to be used with braid, soft coated braid or fluorocarbon" you're using fluorocarbon so why does it state to not??

Couldn’t go back to using knots anymore I feel with knots it’s strangling it’s self a weak point in my eyes I’ve seen marlin Angler’s use giant crimps rather than bulky weak knots only downside is they need to make a bulk pack of crimps and rarely the crimp crushed wrong been useing them since korda released them

The mouth trap i can broke every time after krimping.... In my opinion thats Not the right material... When i use the boom i havent that problem..... Sry mein englisch ist nicht perfekt..... Aber das mouth trap konnte ich nach dem krimpen immer wieder zerreißen.... Mit dem boom hatte ich diese Probleme nicht....

'Loose like bullets down a shotgun' First of all shotguns don't shoot bullets they shoot shells/cartridges Second most shotgun cartridges are filled with loads of ball bearing like lead pellets. So they will be very loose in the barrel.
