Thank you sooo much for this, we need more recycling ideas for resin, there are so little videos about it... it’s good for the environment and good for our pockets 😄

Caroline Ito yes absolutely I agree!!! I'll try and come up with more ideas to help out, stay tuned. 😁

I hate throwing away my run offs and drips, so I am really pleased to have found your channel early on in my resin career. I can already think of so many ways to use the mosaic process. As a suggestion - an alternative way to cut the thicker pieces can you try a craft knife on a self healing cutting mat instead of scissors? Where do you get your wood animal boards from please? I love how this turtle turned out.

Debbie Stephens So I tried the craft knife and it was difficult to cut though compared to hearing the resin and just using scissors. A craft knife sorta peeled at the resin and didn't get a nice line. Wooden animal board I get from Amazon. I have a link under my vids 🥰

I found it!! 😊 And it’s just what I thought they were. I do save them, because they are so pretty, but never knew why or how I’d use them. I will say that my skins are way smaller than yours!! I just have enough to fit in an envelope! Haha!! I’m wondering though, the tray that I messed up on, if there’s a way to get the resin out of it? It’s a wooden tray, just a cheap Walmart tray. Now I’m gonna go watch more of your videos!! 😁

Wonderful! ummmm maybe heat it up and pick at it but wood is usually absorbent so the resin really seeps in so not likely to remove but you can sand it down and redo on top :D
@hislambcreations4 жыл бұрын
Abstract Boss ok, nvr thought about sanding it. My dad has a small hand held sander that would work for this. Or I could try the heat method. Your advice is so much appreciated!!
