STRATEGY TO USE FOR LESION - if OBJ is on the second floor and there is a window that attackers have to scale to get in the building, you can open the window and put a gu mine on the window sill. You have to put it just right or when you put the window back on, it will destroy it. When attackers get near the window it will hit them and they aren't able to take the needle out until they either hit the ground or the roof causing a lot of damage. You could also sit at the window and kill them right as they hit the mine

Lesion joins the group that previously contained only Kapkan and Tachanka, as they're the only ones with silenced shotguns. When roaming far from the enemies, you can open holes big enough to jump through completely silently, to get long-range pistol kills. People expect you to jump out while they're rappelling outside the lockers on Border, but they don't expect the sound of you opening the exterior wall to be drowned out by the sound of their own shooting. And unlike the other two, Lesion's gadget can help with roaming.

I don't think of Lesion as a trap operator to punish rushers, but more to punish the passive players. Since you only get 2 mines when the action phase starts, a rush can still work well. But if you place all 7 down throughout the round, and it's coming down to the last few seconds, that's when the passive players have trouble pushing site.

You didn't mention the synergy between Lesion and any other defensive operator with C4. Gu mine on top of destructible floor + C4 below destructible floor + Team work = EZ kills.

It does affect hostage, you have to drop the hostage in order to remove needles, or else you will die before reaching the extraction. Even worse if you hit multiple needles on your way out.

He's such a flexible op and even if you know the enemy team has a lesion, you have no idea where his traps are going to be. That being said, while they are harder to see, theyre not invisible. Keep an eye out for them especially on your twitch drone

Stay inside another room close to the site. Place mine in front of the door, barricade the door. As soon as you hear mine go off shotgun blast the door or nearby breakable walls. That will give you at least 1 kill.
