Thanks for sharing ! I’ve been painting for years and never thought about the patch . I usually use masking tape and fine line tape.

I went back to brushing on LM and never looked back. So much quicker and less hassle and waste.

Good video. I've been spraying mine through an hvlp gun. It goes on super smooth and even. I used a brush for years till I tried spraying it. With a little water to thin it and also I use a filter for the chunks. It comes out super smooth, takes about 3-4 light coats. Makes cutting it way easier and more consistent. Thanks for the video

Great video bro! Can you make a follow up video to this one on how to do window trim of a different color and some simple designs and how you paint your vehicles?

Im part of the people who spray the liquid mask but i see everyone saying an hvlp gun, i just use the cheapest spray gun from harbor freight (~$20) hooked up to my air compressor. Ive painted it before and it works but I prefer spraying it but i usually wait until i have a batch of bodies. Its not necessary to have the spray guy but i prefer the convenience. I also use a hair dryer on low or no heat, so pretty much everything he said not to do hahaha. I use proline LM still though, I've tried a few others and proline is my favorite

Do you have an estimate of how long between coat application you wait? 30 minutes? 1 hour? Also, once you have applied all 3 coats, how long do you let it cure before you begin cutting it? 1 day? 1 week? Thanks and great video!

@@RonniePrince great questions! Usually depends on the temperature. Most times the coats will dry in 3-4 hours. The first coat will usually dry sooner. You will see the color of the mask turn clear when totally dry. You can cut as soon as everything is clear. It will always have a tacky feel to it. Thanks for watching

you waste to much with brush, hvlp is the recommended procedure , stuff works great and i also still use tapes etc . big time saver , early 70's elmers glue worked fine, even a 200 buck airbrush it doen/t work , small hvlp touch up gun. 2 quick heavy coats.
