Great video! I learned these were called afformations/askfirmations but I like this terminology too! I love a ‘how’ lofty question like ‘how did my life get to be so perfect?’ It feels more natural to my way of speaking, and gets my mind working on figuring out the method, rather than an explanation of why.

Hi Kakoli, thanks for your feedback. In a relaxed state, how many lofty questions could one ask? Is there a limit before the subconscious gets confused or overwhelmed? Also, can we get specific in our loft questions about income, time frames to achieving a goal, etc? Thank you!
@SelfHelpforLife3 жыл бұрын
I would keep it to 10 or less. There is tremendous power in your mind focusing on one idea at a time, so less is often more. Yes being specific is fine too. Hope this helps.

@SelfHelpforLife3 жыл бұрын
Hi Soroush, Yes removing "always" could help. Other lofty questions could be "Why am I always learning ways to become more healthy?" or "Why do I always put in the effort to be as healthy as I can be?" Turning some of the affirmation statements in this video blog into Lofty Questions could be another option. selfhelpforlife.com/affirmations-that-work/ The most important thing is that your mind can accept the idea.

Just one thing I didn’t understand. Do we answer the question after we asked it? Or do we just ask and leave it?

Hi Berna, the questions are posed in such a way that they will encourage helpful answers, insights or solutions. So often an answer will come naturally. However, never try to force an answer. Great question and sorry for not answering it until now. Yes that's the inner critic at play! We all have that at times, including me! What I would suggest is to make your questions more believable. For example, "why is it easy for me to make all the money I need", or "how can I notice the universe helping me to be successful and lucky?" I would also check out my video blog on creating believable affirmations, as the language suggested in this article could be adapted for lofty questions.
