awesome video! Thanks for creating it. The question I have is that my co-host and I do a show together that we record on Streamyard and also broadcast on our phones via Fireside. My audio is always clean on Streamyard, but my co-host's audio is looping back and sound like reverb. I'm running my audio through ZOOM podtrack P4 and using a Rode Podmic. My co-host is using earbuds and her audio coming out sounds great, but the streamyard recording for the track is that "loop effect" on her voice. Any suggestions?

I'm performing a live gig on Friday and it'll be through Streamyard... which doesn't allow for OBS audio to be an input device unfortunately. I'm trying to find a way to have reverb compression and EQ during my live performance with my piano, could I add reverb onto my Ableton and then use Loopback to make it a virtual mic and have it outputted straight to Streamyard? Great question! Are you a Mac or PC user? If you're on a Mac, you can use Loopback. Greetings I have a SLAR12 mixer, studio one 5 pro , IO station 24c and a ISP THETA PRO and a 2 webcams running off of OBS to Streamyard. I have not found a way to make all of that work together for live-streaming guitar performance and recording sessions. Would loop back be the answer to my issue please thank you

Here is what I want to do. Let say I have 5 people in Streamyard hangout. I want to play my electric guitar going into a Focusrite 2i2, using Logic pro and guitar sims. When my guests are talking to me, will they hear themselves back as a echo which I don't want. Typically this works if I have a hardware loopback built into my audio interface, but I have to turn off the Echo cancellation , or my guitar effects will die out but my guests will get an echo when they talk. Will the loopback software let me accomplish so I can play my guitar with the effects and have my guests hear me with out going back and forth turning on and off echo cancelation? Thanks.

For a little more clarification, I want to be able to monitor the mics live. And not have that played through speakers. But, if a guest is on, or I play music, video, ect, I want that audio still monitored through headphones, but also going out to the people in the room to hear/to the people on stream

Hoping you'll see this... I need some help... whenever I have a GUEST on Streamyards, it's a mess. I use Streamyards with Chrome and have Chrome added to Loopback. Whenever I have a guest, they say I echo... if I turn Chrome off, the echo goes away. I'm sure I'm missing something simple... but WHAT?!

If you are experiencing an echo, try closing out of all other tabs and applications, and have all guests do the same thing. In addition to that, echo is usually caused when your mic picks up the audio that your speakers put out and feeds it back into the stream. For this reason, it can also be helpful to wear headphones if you are still experiencing echoes. There is also an echo-cancellation setting that you may need to check. To see if this is checked, go into the StreamYard studio and click Settings > then click audio. Make sure the "Echo cancellation" button is checked so there is no echo. Please take a look at our support article that goes more in-depth about the causes of echo and how to fix it: support.streamyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/14015208551188-How-To-Fix-Echo.

Sorry to hear you're having challenges with your audio. Regarding needing to unplug the mic, what type of microphone are you using? Also, have you gone into your System Preferences on your computer to check that you have the mic and speakers routed correctly? The same for your StreamYard broadcast. @@StreamYard I first used a small lavenir microphone And then I bought a microphone pod it's basically for conference calls when you're on a zoom meeting.That one seems to work better when I'm by myself and don't have a guest it works just fine. I've tried going live on my phone as well as my laptop using both scenarios

why does streamyard only work with this extremely expensive software loopback and refuses to work with others (like blackhole, ishowu etc)? because I set up everything correctly using a audio interface (real) and a virtual cable and nothing works. Every other plataform works perfectly (obs, streamlabs etc) except streamyard... Is it so to make streamyard users buy loopback? thanks

You can also use BlackHole or ishowu. Both should work. If you can't get them to work, it's likely because of a security setting under your System Preferences. All you're doing in StreamYard is selecting the audio source, which when set up correctly in BlackHole, ishowu, Loopback, VoiceMeeter, etc should show up as options under audio. Another thing to check under System Preferences on your Mac is to see that the audio input/output is using the right ones. I would also check the Audio MIDI Setup that's built-in to your Mac as well. I've had my Mac change these automatically, but sometimes you have to manually switch them. Try that. I see levels moving in all three apps: Zoom, Loopback and StreamYard, but no sound in the actual broadcast recording. Do know why this might be? Do I need to change sound settings on my computer?
