Is there a "stamp"-like function with sprites on Makecode? I want to slowly fill the display with dots, adding one each time I shake the microbit. Could you point me in the right direction on this? Thanks!
@SurfingScratcher4 жыл бұрын
Hi John, been a while since I've been in Makecode, but you could create an image and assign it to a variable. Alternatively, you can use list values to light up individual LEDs. A value of 0 means the LED for that position is off. A value of 1 means that the LED is on.

Yes, I'd love to get back to a place where I can begin releasing content again. It won't happen this year, but there is a strong chance I'll pick it back up again in the new year. What ideas or content would you love to see me make?

Awesome, stoked to hear you found value. I love your username. I've been out foraging fungi and I've come across the ghost fungus (omphalotus nidiformis) and an inky cap called coprinus clomatis. You're username is a combination of the two in my mind :D

hi, im 14yrs old.. Why do we need micro bit.. Can u tell me.. i hope that you are the best teacher for me...................
@SurfingScratcher4 жыл бұрын
Hi! You don't actually need a micro:bit if you want to learn to code. However, they can be useful to help you interact with the real-world through 'sensing' it. It's a device that give you a taste of coding with a taste of electronics and engineering. It's well-priced for what it does compared to other devices within its category, too. Enjoy the journey!
