Wow, it's incredible how much Midjourney images have improved in the past 11 months. I've been binge watching this entire series and it's been interesting to see how much the images that Midjourney creates have changed in less than a year. Really amazing improvements! Thank you for the fun series, it's something that even those of us who don't use Midjourney can appreciate and learn from, since a lot of the other AI platforms also know these terms and art styles.

@@WadeMcMaster I was just going to ask the same question. Is it possible to create the same character and reference the same outfit or even change the dress but continuously use the same character in different poses. I feel like it would be a waste to pay a monthly subscription and the AI can only draw similar characters, meanwhile my book or comic is expecting the reader to pretend look alike characters are all the same person. I also never see anyone test out if you can enter a command to draw a celebrity, historical figure or upload a photo to match the person you would like to draw.

In addition to uploading a picture, celebrity, and historical figure is the AI able to recognize other character names from Disney, Looney Tunes (WB), or Marvel. I'm guessing since it had trouble with the Simpson's art style, it might not be able to do this yet. It's not so much to draw these characters, but to render a picture of them and adjust them into our own personal take on the character.

I have a question regarding the image...I am generating photos on Midjourney, however I keep getting results with a picture within a picture or a painting above a sofa or a white border around the image results and never just a full image with the design or pattern that I want. Do you know how to make sure that the design takes up the full image size?

It can be annoying. You could try negative words? Typing at the end: --no frame or something similar?

Does anyone know how to get an 'anime style'? When I type in 'anime style', it looks too photo realistic and detailed, even when I add 'simplistic.' I've even tried adding in specific animes and it doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

No I didnt, I literally just put the same prompt in with modifiers mentioned in the video, then picked the best one from each lot of 4.

I just discovered and joined & subscribed (Standard Plan) to Midjourney and joined & installed Discord Apps on both my M1 MacBook Pro & iPad Pro ... also accessed Discord via Safari browser, doing a lot of experimentation in "relaxed" mode. Later in the day while browsing Midjourney website's gallery, my MacBook Pro screen suddenly went completely black. It took me about 5 hours of troubleshooting to get it back up again. My MacBook Pro has top specs: M1 Max chip, 10 core CPU, 32 core GPU, 65GB RAM, 2TB SSD. So my question is how the processing, graphics and processing is handled ... in both the browser and also using the Apps directly on the computer & iPad ... is it all handled directly on Discord servers ... or is some of it handled by the computer's (or iPad's) own CPU and GPU, cache storage, etc.? I'm trying to figure out what caused my screen to suddenly go black (Safari browser) ... and if you could point me to an answer or forum, or documentation that explains how and where all the CPU, GPU and cache is handled when using both the browser versions of Discord and Midjourney, and also the Discord Apps directly on the Mac and iPad?

I'm really sor4ry to hear about all of the issue you experienced. Modjourney's AI is actually handled by their servers, all you do is send the text and receive an image, the rest happens away from your computer.

I did find a nifty hack for Desktop though, resize the browser window until it's thin and tall (phone sized) and then hit the 3 horizontal line menu icon and it shows more page options there including styles (for now anyway lol)

Absolutely! Some things reference really qell and some dont. You could try the anime style (type /settings choose niji 5 ) and it may be more accurate

That’s the max unfortunately, however, you can upscale them. I’m working on a video ;) do you have photoshop or Lightroom? If not I’m going to research some ai upscalers.

I've noticed that midjourney, especially with sketching styles, throws and artifact in a lower third area that looks a lot like a signature. Is Mid trying to sign its work? haha 😑

Out of all these tip videos people make there are still some nobody either has found out yet or won't share and I don't wanna let the cat out of the bag , but oh well. ppl should play with their seed and uploaded images mixed with prompts and weights. Also use multiple images and seeds. Even use the image from the seed mixed with others so you can build background ideas and thinngs in that environment etc, get creative. it will give way more unique results and you can form a style true to yourself

All of the results I showed were from the first request, I did pick the best one though. Certain things it does well much easier than others though, so it can take some work to get it where you need it.
