How To Use Minolta X-370 X-300 X-7A Film Camera

The Minolta X 300 is a 35mm manual focus SLR based on the MD mount, and which was produced between 1984 and 1990. The X 300 was also marketed as the X 370 in the U.S. and Canada.
For North America, they only released the X-370 with a black and chrome finish. But, Minolta rectified that by releasing an all-black version of the X-370 in 1985, named the X-7A.

As a kind of hobby I look in dumpsters and curbside stuff for electronics - PCs laptops Chromebooks gaming systems tablets... At an apartment dumpster a few days ago I was digging around and i found this camera, & some other ones, plus a couple of different attachable lenses. Not sure if it works! Also found a MacBook Pro! It works!! What does "ISO" nean, and what does turning the small dial do? Thank you 🤓 i believe there's an attachable flash unit like the one used here! But think the one i found can move, so its more versatile, flexible!

Hi Tim, It is the way the exposure meter tells us that we have a correct light measurement to achieve a good exposure of the film.

Hello, I inserted the film to the camera, but i cannot click the shutter button, it feels like it was blocked and shows ‚S’ instead of ‚1’. Do you have an idea what am I doing wrong?
