Have you got the overlay address from MixItUp to add into OBS?

I for some reason cant connect my OBS, but the overlay connections works

OBS and MixItUp recently changed the port numbers, so just make sure that the port number listed in the OBS web proxy settings are the same as those in MixItUp. The connection to OBS isn't for the overlay... instead it allows you to control things like switching scenes in OBS through MixItUp. I hope that helps
