I have a 2019 Giulia 2.0. Do you know if the OBD will allow me to put the brakes into service mode so I can change them?

Great question…Is your Alfa US or Euro spec? While OBD II became mandatory for US cars in 1992, EU didn’t mandate it until 2001. So, the 1st thing will be determining if yours is I or II. According to OBDLink, the MX+ is OBD2 only (as are other OBD2 specific readers). *EU petrol cars had limited compliance in 2001. I hope this helps and thanks for watching 🙏🏽

Which OBD works to reset the oil maintenance interval on the infotainment? I was able to clear the one on the instrument cluster but can’t get the one on the infotainment to rest to (9800 miles > 365 days)

Which OBD? I’m not clear on your question. However, if you’re referring to the cables, neither one is needed to reset oil service. It’s done in the app then you’ll see it on the infotainment screen

@@ivanstark3386 The infotainment system, is your readout like the monitor on your computer or laptop…nothing to manipulate. As mentioned in the video, a subscription IS required to perform any reset or adaptations. If you’re successful on the free version please let us know!

@@EuroAutoEnthusiastI was not successful. I did purchase the Multiecuscan app but once I got to the function to reset the Interval, it said “Failed To Execute”. Not sure sure what’s going on. Maybe I need to purchase a license?

I was trying to reset my Service Oil Change Red Light. I went the Service Interval Reset and tried there, but it kept on telling me, “Execution Failed”. I can do everything else with the MES app on my iPhone except clear that message. Any advice.

@@georgealas3601 1. When you say you can do everything else, what’s an example and does this include run adaptations? 2. What Bluetooth module are you using? 3. Have you tried restarting the iPhone and MES? *Make sure both iOS and MES app are updated versions. 4. Turn the car off, let the system completely shut down and try again…As mentioned, the Alfas have a ton of modules and computers that needs resetting sometimes too 🤷🏽‍♂️
