I had done all the same steps as you to calibrate First calibrate only port 0 on the device and then via the software When I sweep, I don't see a line connecting the dots. Instead it looks like a scatter plot graph. I'll try again as you describe step by step to confirm, but maybe my nano has an issue.

I'm having a very hard time seeing the text on your screen. I don't expect you to redo this on my account but perhaps on future videos, you can zoom in. At 3:24, you go from calibrate and "at first you should see the cable itself". What test is that ? I can't read it from the screen, sorry. My default screen is a Smith Chart on top and polar below. I'm just wanting to check my home brew antennas for resonance. I'm getting some new glasses in a couple of days. See if that helps but every text is a blur on the screen. Curious to know what others are experiencing.

It means a cable connected from port 0 to 1 directly..if the cable and connectors are ok you should see a straight line...change your display settings from left down corner...''display" and choose what you need..probably for antenna tuning is channel 0 SWR and Return loose..means two dsplays..but no Smith..

@@viocaia Thanks, I found that SWR selection but don't see any sort of run test command anywhere. I tried SWEEP but it returned an error: Cannot configure port. Time for bed. thanks.

@@viocaia It would be great if you could do a video on checking antenna resonance. I suspect it's the most common motive for people buying the NANO. Certainly in my Ham Radio circles.

Hmmm I've just downloaded from github and got a different software for nano vna saver. It started with a black background, 4 windows, and the setup is totally different. Can't find any videos on how to change the windows ( functions of the sweep) so unable to do the SWR sweep I wanted... Can't use the software because I'm, unable to change the modes. It looks like a better software, but is harder to operate... I'll post the version later.. Can you do a video on this latest version please..

I recall I did a resoft to earlier model, didn't work well, the touch screen frozen and so...there should be a software to push the firmware in USB mode to NanoVna.

How can we check the NFC tag parameters using nano VNA.

Got no idea if it's possible, likely a spectrum analyzer will be better if any radio waves involved

During calibration, why did you ignore the direction to put a load on Port 1 ? You said you "don't have it" but you just used it on Port 0 . I don't understand.

Do exactly like I said ...don't attach any load to port 1..just aconnect the cable between 0 and 1
