Thank you for this video. I bought one of these a few weeks ago and finally sat down with it and you've really helped me. I'm not into worship music so much, but the ambient tones that are used are very beautiful. I subscribed to your channel just for support that you can keep doing what you're doing. Again thank you.

I just found your channel recently. I use the Sonicake Matribox 2 regularly for worship at church. This is very similar to my unit. There are a few features missing from the NuX that I use on the Sonicake, some on the MG-30 that I wish the Matribox 2 had, but nothing really that would make this or the Sonicake better, just different. One big difference is the software, the NuX is very similar to Garage Band like you said already but my unit looks like Line 6 editing software, functionality is the same though.

I liked this unit and was really good sounding going straight into an amp. Now, I have some PA speakers and the only thing that sounds good is the clean on it. I've tried all the different settings and adjustments. I might try something else now. I wanted a amazing fender twin sound and I am just not getting it.

Hey man, this is a great and extremely informative video. Thank you so much for that.... One quick question... is ist possible to assign the drum machine to one of the foot-switches - either on the unit itself, or the additional foot switch? So I want to just hit a foot switch to start/stop the drum machine on the last-used drum machine style. Is that possible with the MG-30?

Hello great video. I just got a nux and i was wondering how can you jump from for example 1a to 1d without having to press the up button 3 times. Is there An easier way as I want to use a bank of 4.
@influentialworship3 ай бұрын
If I’m understanding your question correctly, the easiest thing would probably be to use the Quick tone editor to put your patches in the order that you want to change them in and then use the bank up switch to change them in sequence

Great video! One question- where is the guitar sound actually coming from? You computer? From some speakers connected to the NUX or are they connected to the computer? I never get this… Thank you very much!
@influentialworship6 ай бұрын
You can use the pedal for many different applications. The sound can come through your computer or you can even record to your computer through the NUX or you can hook it up to external speakers.
@guidonetube3 ай бұрын
Hi, first of all thanks for this great tutorial, I recently bought this machine and I would like to know what criteria you used to set the 4 sounds present in each patch. Let me explain, each patch contains 4 presets (01A, 02A, 03A, 04A) and I wonder if there is a criterion or not. For example if each patch contains a Clean sound, a Crunch, a Distorted and a Lead or if the assignment of the four sounds under the same Patch is completely random, thanks in advance for your answer!
@influentialworship3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the encouragement, so glad it was helpful! The patches you see in this are actually all the factory patches that come that way on the system, but I I think your reasoning is definitely smart. You definitely could arrange the patches in a way that makes sense so that you could just use the patch up and down to get to the sounds you need to access in sequence! You can re-order the patches however you need to. It’s definitely easiest to do that with the quick tone editor.
@guidonetube3 ай бұрын
@@influentialworship So if the four patches assigned to the 32 sound banks were not assigned with the criteria I described, they could have simply inserted 128 presets (32 x 4) into the system, nothing would have changed. These thoughts of mine come from the use I will make of it live, that is, how should I organize the pedalboard to be able to simply manage the performance of 20 songs for example in which I need to change 6 different guitar sounds? How would you configure the NUX in this situation? Thanks in advance and compliments for your channel!
@RichardPFranklinАй бұрын
I haven't even finished watching the video, but thank you for taking the time. NUX's manual is the most useless piece of writing I have seen in my life, and I read heaps of student essays every year. Eight bloody pages of convoluted instruction for a such a piece of equipment! I felt like I walked in on a conversation halfway through and now get to listen to inside jokes and references to things I've never heard of. My Valeton-100 manual was a masterpiece compared to this one. The Valeton manual even described what each patch and effect is and what it does.

I'm interested in buying one, but I'm trying to figure out if you can switch into the Looper Mode without having to literally let go of the guitar to press the two switches simultaneously. Like, can you assign Loop mode to one of the footswitches? Otherwise, Loop mode isn't possible live (while you're playing). If I'm playing a song and decide to record a loop and noodle over it for a while - I can't! Unless I'm prepared to actually stop playing, bend down and press the two buttons, right? I'm also interested to hear your thoughts on plugging an acoustic into it, rather than using any of the acoustic IRs. So many of these kinds of products provide next to no functions or patches for an acoustic player. Thanks!
@influentialworship6 ай бұрын
The pedals are close enough together that you can actually use one foot to hit both of them. I do this for accessing the tuner. Also I actually covered how it could benefit acoustic in this video. I've also got content planned to show how the MG-30 works more with acoustic guitar. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIWtiaqNq9Oci6sfeature=shared
