You can also parry + hold your heavy and release the heavy just before the stun expires (similar to when you mordo stun->attack). This way the heavy hits the opponent while he’s not stunned and you get the 10s pause. Great video, complex champ explained as simple as possible, thanks 🙏

I survived the Onslaught - Thank you very much for this video!! I was lucky enough to pull him a 7* recently and I was lazy so far to learn and understand how to get the most out of him. I need to spend some time to get used to this heavy spam, but seems like its not that bad to maintain the extended pause, just need to get a little bit better at chaining the specials into the heavies. Great video! Only one addition or request I would make is what relic is the best suggested for him. Other then that, nice and informative as always! Keep it up!

Any relic works for him. There isn’t one in particular that works best. With the Sinister relic you can get a little bit of free Willpower healing from the bleed but it’s not a game-changer for him.

Safely heavy during any passive stun? I'm not sure I know what that means, any examples. I taken it its just different from a parry stun? "Heavy cancel into it" means while the heavy is in progress, hot that special?

A stun debuff is what is normally applied via a parry. If a skill champ shrugs off that stun debuff, Onslaught reapplies it as a passive effect that cannot be shrugged off. When this happens, you can still get the extended pause by using your heavy attack. Otherwise, the only way to get the extended pause is by using your heavy to counter the defender's heavy or special attack. Heavy cancel is exactly what you describe - let the first hit of the heavy land and then immediately tap your special button.

I think Ironheart is probably the best all-around counter because a lot of her kit was designed seemingly with Onslaught in mind.

I get the concern here for sure. A lot of him is just recognizing where and when you can get openings to use your heavy for the extended pause.

Not a bad champion overall, he has some really good utility. Unfortunately I don't like this whole no stun heavy pause thing play style. In my opinion it is super annoying and kills the flow. Also his light and medium animations look kinda slack. I believe he is hyped a bit to much

Saying a character needs sig is much different than saying a characters highly benefits from sig. A character like aegon is one that definitely needs it, but onslaught just benefits from it.
