Thank you for this. I was wondering why my image wasn’t releasing from the transfer tape when applying to my surface. I have a high tack transfer paper maybe it’s too sticky and that’s why it isn’t releasing.

Sign warehouse and US Cutter sell transfer tape, but it's only in 100 yard rolls. I only need a few feet -_- Can I instead use transfer tape that's used for t-shirt heat transfers, like siser ttd easy mask heat transfer tape? It's tons cheaper, 15inch x 15ft

I'm having huge issues with MT80 application tape from Oracal, when I'm reverse weeding a very small and intricate design, the tape is not strong enough to hold and small text or design to it. Any suggestion? I know you don't recommend a stronger grip, but I'm thinking that what I have to try. TIA

Hey! When you're gonna put a big piece of vinyl on a car, can you use a water/soap mix to spray on to make it easier to get the air bubbles out? Or will it not stick then?

Oracal 651 can be used with the wet application method.

What matt should we be using for cricut. I use the medium grip and its been ripping the backing and the vinyl. Also. Do you happen to have a video on the pressure we should be using for the 651?

A cricut light grip mat works well. even one that is slightly used does great!

The setting will depend on your blade and machine, but generally, the vinyl dial setting is a good place to do your first test cut. Once applied, the vinyl has a 6 plus year outdoor rating. This, of course, will be affected by exposure and wear. The shelf life can be about 2 years depending on conditions. You will likely see some shrinkage during that time.

If the cup has a coating or has a material that will not accept adhesive, Oracal 651 will not apply.
