When I first made some stickers up I only had painters tape, and it worked wonders, especially as its size was ideal for the bumper sticker size. I was hoping to hear this that paper does work well as I hoped to minimize plastic use and be as sustainable as possible. Thank you for the video!

I agree - I used the ‘bug’ brand high track vinyl a few years ago and I couldn’t get my vinyl decals off it. I’m personally not a fan of paper transfer tape (someone else’s brand-not yours).. because I can’t see the design edges when placing it onto the surface. I had thought about gridded tape but my designs are never placed on the tape ‘level’ - so the grid lines don’t help me. I love clear transfer tape - that’s my favourite - it’s all about personal preference and the type of work that we do, but videos like this are so informative - it’s so confusing when first starting out x

I wish I would’ve found this sooner. I made a project for Mother’s Day and the contact tape left so my residue. It was just sad. Qtip and alcohol all night cleaning it up

I’m having issues with paper and plastic not picking up the details decals. But when I do finally get both to pick it up they both release really well I guess my issue is pick up what do I do? I use fox riding and 651 vinyl

I just learnt my lesson on the Extra tacky "Bug"transfer tape!! I thought it would be great for transferring the design from the vinyl roll. Nope...took a bit to get it to pick up the design...BUT Im having heck of a time peeling it off the design after I applied it. Wish I bought the clear transfer tape. I could have simply left it on and still be able to see the design. Any tips or techniques in peeling the tape away from my logo without lifting the design? Or should I just start fresh? P.S. Great vids

The cheap contact paper will make a mess leaving a lot of adhesive behind. I wouldn't use it.
